Here’s a Seiko Brightz SDGM001 that I picked up recently. This is probably the first Brightz model that comes with a 6R15 movement. In the past, automatic Brightz (non-chronograph) models came with the 8L and 4S movements. Of course, this one is offered at a lower price point.

The SDGM001 features the Seiko Comfotex technology which include special treatment to the case and crystal of the watch.

The crystal is coated with “Super Clear Coating” on both sides to suppress reflection of light up to 99% or more. In addition, anti fouling (water-repellent film) is applied to the coating to provide resistance to stains and scratches. The crystal treatment looks similar to Orient’s SAR coating.

Nice case work look at the lugs and you get a good Seiko bracelet, low end ones not so good except Jubilee.

8fa4b8da92cc88a076b1fbddeedd7d64.jpg   Now we are collectors but if you have a friend who  asks you: I need two watches one work and one dress OH watch guy ! You tell him these two he is done for about $550.

  3. Fluffy relax it is a bit different here ( guys I know fluffy have been around when he got a little beatup next store) I can not believe the mods took your account and are posting in your name now having it direct you to Breitling when you log in well that I can believe.  (a prank Fluffy) Now I will tell you this though they hate Invicta even more here than there.............. Let's call a truce you can hang out here post about watches w/ us I will not bother you but you will never post about "the watch that can not be mentioned" ever again, deal?

  4. Sharp Andy but you need a third legend AP to round out the field maybe one a bit more sporty ....................... possibly the volcano dial model . ;)  But wait these are not watches for those without means considering dealer cost and the mods that need to be done to get to this level. Well Mike has you covered for a little more than the cost of shipping you can get a shot at one of these!

Not above shameless plugs !!! :partytime:

  5. Ok lets be honest about this. MOB first asked me a question then I answered him then he called me a Canadian Legend. So what was all that aboot eh? Anyways that's why I didn't thank him specifically. But then you started ganging up on me for some strange reason. But  regardless I humbly apologize to MOB and thank you for this great forum and I'll try to remember not to PM you.. But getting back to my issue yes I'm fully aware of the problems with shipping and customs and the like and yes I've read about a few who have lost watches but for the most part as long as you follow the TD's specific instructions then most people seem to eventually receive their watch back. Certainly no one has yet to reply to my thread re losing their watch. In my particular case I have to stick it in the mail to someone so it may as well be to China and I have probably a 90% chance of success.

    Thanks again to everyone.

Oh , let me explain: Legend asked where you lived to help you find a guy to fix I looked it up and replied "Canada legend" so he would know the best person to send you to. He is our AP master and knows who to go to for them dependent on where you live.

PS as english is Rollo Ron's language so reading in context it was an answer to legend , read it again Ron but first read legends' question.
