  3. Can those with outstanding watches please keep us posted when you receive tracking information and when you eventually get your watches? I'll do the same, but up to now I still haven't gotten any acknowledgement from Mike since i requested my watch be returned.

  5. Mike, its not so much the expectation we have of the watches, its the expectations we have of the watchmaker. Now I sent you my return address to md2020repair@yahoo.com and never got a response. Did you get that email or should I email it again to the other email address you listed?

  8. Should it really be this hard to get back a watch I sent in for servicing 3 months ago? Mike, you already serviced the movement and got paid. Now I do not care if the 30 minute counter pinion broke. I do not need the 30 minute counter to work as long as it stays in place, which you told me way back that it does. I have gone out of my way to make sure you see these messages but still no communication in regards to this request. How likely is it that you can be online every day and not see my posts, shoutbox messages, PMs OR emails? Just send the watch back. I don't think waiting any longer to find a pinion makes any sense. I have sent the return address to your PM box and to your email address. Please ship my Montblanc and forward me the tracking information. I will continue to do what I can to make sure you see my requests. Or maybe someone else who doesn't have a communication issue with you can do me a favor and tell u that I've been trying to reach you. I mean, even if I had an opportunity to source the part or a whole movement I wouldn't be able to buy it because I can't get through to you to find out if I should. So please send my watch back. Last I heard you weren't taking any new business so getting through to you shouldn't be like pulling teeth.
  9. I held my first Gen Carrera Chrono last weekend and I can tell you I fell in love. This watch is a stunner and I can definitely say that all the work you have put in is totally justified. Great job on this. I'm totally jealous!

  12. Mike, please check my PM when you see this. I'm ready to call it quits on the search for the pinion for the 30 minute counter hand (A7753). Unless you have a the fix in motion already... Which u probably don't because I'm sure you would have informed me as such. I just need to have some steady communication with you to sort out final arrangements. Kindly oblige.
  13. I can attest to the awesomeness of this watch. Purchased it some months back and immediately my love for it was justified. Unfortunately, due to the substandard materials used to make Asian movements, a pinion broke while MD2020 was servicing it a couple months ago. He's been trying to find a replacement pinion for a couple months now with no success. At this point, I miss it so much I'm thinking about just having him send it back as is... That's if my next update (whenever I get one) doesn't sound more hopeful.

  21. Thanks to Finn for sharing his experience in the shoutbox. A communication breakdown after 6 months? Come on Mike. That story really got me thinking overtime. Even when life gets in the way you still have a responsibility to the people doing business with you.
