At first glance the ring you pointed out at the back appears to be the plastic placed there to protect the display glass. Not sure about the scuff on the front.

My problem is that even after asking about availability, I was told that it SHOULD be available. Then after paying, I was told it was out of stock. For this reason I'm going to try Toro who I've heard clearly states the availability in his listings.

Seems like a common problem. One that has affected me before. In my case, I didnt allow the TD to hold my money. I don't think they are too keen on that idea either. I searched hard for another watch I wanted, and guess what? Not available either... So I asked for a refund and got it fairly quickly. This might be the safest bet.
