I really want to get into this as well. But where would I find the time? This would be my ultimate hobby but my life is a bit too hectic right now to practice. I might be able to get the reading in, but the hands on aspect would require an overhaul of my life!

Very very unfortunate. I haven't bought from Josh so I wouldn't be able to help. But I hope for the sake of this community that a TD is not the source of such fraud.

I have to disagree. My first purchase was great. Communication was good and I got a great watch in a little over a week.

Misterlau, my first purchase with TT was seamless. My second one is proving to be a bit more trying. But just be patient. Not every transaction will be the same.

I'm going through the same issue right now. It makes no sense. If you can check availability after payment is made, then surely you can check it before! Now none of the similarly priced watches that I would want are in stock either. In fact, I've been waiting a day to hear back about the availability of my third option.

In terms of how u communicate with them, a member's post count shouldn't matter. They....I mean we (noobs) should be treated based on the content of our posts. I never find myself looking at post count. Maybe Ill take note of the join date but the post count is inconsequential where simple interaction is concerned. I do take the point of looking at post count and join date when trying to conduct business with someone. That only makes sense.

I've always known watches to be worn on the left. The rationale I heard as a child was that it's the most convenient way to set the time or date without having to take the watch off... So I've always done it that way.

I need to send him my MB Timewalker. I hear nothing but good things about this guy.

Panerai153, where did I insinuate that it was the same watch? Tone down just a notch. Please. If you already know the answer to the question, then why ask it? I'd think it would be obvious that the last picture I posted was merely an illustration and confirmation of 1680s post informing us that a genuine two toned tridor actually exists, after someone else told us that one was never made. Your exhaustive investigation was unnecessary as I'm sure neither you, nor anyone else needed help to figure out that it was not the same watch. (The image is linked directly from the site of origin after all and is clearly of a watch in much better condition) But anyway,to you sir, my apologies for not stating the obvious. Just for you, I'll edit the offending post. Edit: Tried to add a notation to the picture but Im not seeing the edit option for that post. Guess it will have to stay as is.

A friend of mine (who needs a better camera or cellphone) told me that her grand dad had a Rolex that had been sitting in a drawer for years I asked her for pics and this is what I got. my question Is whether there is any Indication here in this blurry mess that would tell me whether to persue this piece or not. Or even If Its rep or gen?
