  1. Agreed, it sure is a risky business too. When I super frankened my Carrera, the costs far outweighed the cost of a used gen, but for me it was a passionate build, now owned by @thegrail I keep asking him to sell it back to me as when I sold it I was in a bad place back then, my circumstances have changed since.
  2. Looks hefty that G. I'm still rocking my Phillipe 200M Diver.. DSC06997 by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr
  3. If this is from BP factory, then this is quite common.

  5. This is my thinking too, perhaps opening a owned domain. Not heard from him yet.
  6. Photo of the rear? Font printing looks strange to me, but unsure what year this is, there are so many slight variations from Rolex.
  7. They are not Rolex parts, insert and dial at least.
  8. Looks like a BP dial with that 12 o'clock triangle being off, and thats just the tip of the iceberg too, terrible.
  9. Now you tell me, Ive just placed a large order of parts with him, I will email him and find out.
  10. I still can't find any definitive information on that button on the lug shoulder, my gut says its for the date quick set, but would like confirmation.
  11. Good to hear, sorry about that, we get som many spammer promoting their scam sites, we tend to look out for each other here Welcome aboard.
  12. Another spammer promoting SS? SolidSwiss is a scam site.
  13. `According to this article, its a 7750 in there, but I'm not convinced. Tudor website only show their newer model, this one here must be their previous model. **Link Removed** Turns out that link was a scam site, showing a real photo but then the case back photos were of a rep, no button on the lug. Rep.. Well well, Andrew has them listed. http://www.trustytime01.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=228&products_id=14557 [
  14. Spotted a real beauty for sale over on TRF for $2195 in mint condition, its a stunner, photos borrowed from the seller below, I would like to know what that button is on the shoulder in the first photo? It it some kind of date quickset? The dial layout looks to be that of a 7753 which usually has the date quickset button @11 on the side of the case. This button is on the correct side, but on the underside of the lug. And here's the stunning dial. It seems to be a very fair price to me, just wish I was in a position to drop that kind of money for it, but who knows, certainly something to save up for knowing they are not out of reach at that price point.

  16. If you have been in the rep game since 2006 you should already be self aware that this website is a very very well known scammer website.

  18. Welcome to the best replica watch forum on the internet Greetings from Finland.
  19. Christian favours the STP over the ETA, read this a little while ago, but thanks for the share Mike. Some interesting discussions I though worthy of a share relating movements, and their different calibres. Should be of interest to some of you guys, quite old threads, but nevertheless worthy of a read with your morning coffee .. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/smoke-mirrors-part-1-eta-grades-explained-458060.html http://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/smoke-mirrors-part-2-eta-modifications-upgrades-459866-2.html
  20. 36 jewels? I would love to dissect that movement Looks identical to the ETA 28XX calibre. This will be a great deal in the industry for sure. Loving their open heart, skeleton STP calibre.
