  1. Away on business, and still rocking my vintager Reporter. Not a great photo, I'm in-between meetings. DSC07491 by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr
  2. The chapter ring is the inner (Under the crystal) outer circumference of the dial.
  3. Do you have a photo of the rear? Looks like a refinished dial, and lume work.
  4. Take your time, and don't force anything, we are here to assist you
  5. Will take a detailed look at your photos after I zoom into them, but in the meantime, can you confirm this is a A7750 with fully functional chronograph? If so, your chronograph reset hammer is not reset in your photos. I will copy your photos, and label them to help you identify the areas of the movement I'm referring to my friend. Couple of observations.. 01 by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr Below is how your reset hammer position should be.. 7750 reset hammer position by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr 02 by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr Your minute counter jumper looks trapped under your balance, usually a result of balance being refitted following removal by inexperienced repairer. Minute Counter Jumper by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr Still looking at your photos, your movement claps and screws are still in place. I will update you shortly. 03 by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr Here's A photo showing the correct position for your minute counter jumper. Swiss ETA 7750 Movement by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr
  6. Don't touch anything when you do open it up, make sure no dust or hairs get in there, and don';t leave the watch with the back off for long, have a glass you can put over it whilst doing anything else, take a good quality photo or three moving the rotor a little at a time, so we can inspect the photos/movement to see if there's anything obvious, then we can advise further.
  7. Interesting, Yachtmaster seconds hand and red on white date wheel, like it!
  8. Rep CV2A10 on the bay by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr Indeed.
  9. Been longing for another CV2A10 after selling my super franken to a great member here @thegrail when I hit hard times Check this out.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TAG-HEUER-CARRERA-Calibre-16-Day-Date-Automatic-Chronograph-43MM-CV2A10-/282195101131?hash=item41b42385cb:g:3-cAAOSwLnBX6V5Z Bracelet is genuine, well, the clasp anyways. Chapter ring is misaligned obviously, and bezel is incorrect. This is a rep, report. Be careful out there guys and gals.
  10. I'm referring to many a watch I have had on my bench where someone has used superglue inside a watch, and then sealed out up whgiulst the superglue is still not cured fully Leaves a right mess, and fogs up the underside of the crystal, and needs acetone to clean up.
  11. You have bigger critters than I have come across here, I see here daily, hedgehogs, woodpeckers, red squirrels, weasels, and Rabbits. We do have Moose, and wild bear, but mostly further North of here towards the Artic Circle.
  12. These are usually only held in place with a double sided sticky ring, if there's none of this found on the underside of the bezel insert, then get yourself some watchmakers dial strips, and apply short strips to the bezel, ensuring they only sick to the rotating surface, and then carefully refit the insert, ensuring its aligned. Dial Replacement Stickers & Strips - Pack of 60 ! - for Watchmakers/Repairs
  13. I strongly advise against using superglue inside a watch, the fumes will not only stain areas visible through the sapphire, they will cause problems with the movement also. Use the correct watchmakers GS-Hypo Cement for re-adhereing indice, and badges back onto a watch dial, and take care to position correctly with the feet/holes (if any).
  14. Have you opened the watch to check its not a simple case of a rogue screw causing the issue?
  15. Welcome to the forums, interesting first post.
  16. I guess this is something to do with the recent Paypal TOC being updated. Did you not get the email? It was a long one, I shifted through it, read that anyone in Turkey can no longer have a paypal account, pay or receive payment via papal, thats a big deal to the innocent people there. Need to read a little more I guess.
  17. Ah, I'm EU, if you cant find anyone local to repair it for you, drop me a pm.
