  1. Yes, a cheap rep with 21j faux chronograph movement.
  2. Frankens are always something doable, but like many, its sourcing the parts, and in the case of any AP parts, they are expensive, here's a couple of examples of dials, let alone other parts to make a true franken.Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph 32 mm Blue Dial For 44 mm Watch Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Blue Dial 29m Part for 42m Watch Mens Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Alinghi Dial Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Blue dial quadrante ref. 15202ST original new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 37mm Blue/Grey dial quadrante ref. 14790ST 14700ST
  3. Check my flickr photos, there you will see the use of a couple of variants of 3D printed tools I use for fitting, and aligning DWO's, mainly to Rolex reps, TC, BK, and frankens.
  4. Thats a gen Mike, three cut outs on the balance jewel cap where the older style retainer spring is used, more difficult to tell with the newer type spring.
  5. I usually buy my crystal gaskets from my rep parts guys, usually in packs of 20 per model for those not available off the shelf, the Diver is one such model. Reason I buy so many is as you know, I offer ProfSteve crystal services now, and prior to that I used to offer a UK lab.
  6. Not the case with AP Divers A, when you remove the bezel, the crystal is fitted to the bezel itself. I can't recall from memory, but some of the older AP Divers the crystal removes by pressing from the outside, later models need pressing from inside outwards. You should be able to tell right away once the bezel is removed which way it presses out. Make sure you have a correct replacement crystal gasket just isn case too.
  7. Different movement Mike, and also different auto wind bridge, even the find regulation screw is positioned differently too.
  8. Looks ETA to me, and the auto wind bridge also. Do you have a better close up photo of the ETA logo?
  9. Ageing to the lume circumferences looks premature for the age of the watch, and could indicate some water ingress at some point, other than that its gen alright.
  10. Why you mention domed crystal however is slightly confusing, as the 15400, and 300 are not domed.
  11. I can get those crystals for you from Profsteve in the US. Drop me a pm

  14. Someone forgot to put the 50 pence in the meter lol
  15. Seasons Greetings Rich, and all the very best for 2016 mate
  16. Sorry I couldn't help, but as said, I am only trained to service ETA by TSG.
