  1. Bezel needs to be removed, then insert, and correct, then press fit the bezel back into the correct position. You need both a press, and bezel removal tool. It all depends on the construction though, and I'm not familiar with this model.
  2. Hello there, not from Sweden, but not too far away, I am in Finland
  3. FYI - 3 to 4ATM will be perfectly fine for normal swimming 10 ATM is 100 meters. Don't know where you quoted that ridiculous statement from. Probably from a scam site no doubt.
  4. Welcome aboard, sound like a close call there my friend. That site is indeed a scam site run by the scammer, James. Greetings from a fellow UK guy in Finland.
  5. Mine have been.. Boxed, used Bergeon 5555/98 Water Resistance Tester (less than half retail) Complete set of Dumont Tweezers (£60 delivered) I serviced the Bergeon, and its now as good as new. The tweezers should arrive next week, they are used, but in excellent condition. Obviously I will inspect, and make any adjustments if needed
  6. Superb view for sure that mate. We had some snow yesterday, but its gone now. Should have a few feet of it soon, then the big freeze.
  7. Possibly, I imagine this has been the case straight from the factory, and the only thing holding things together was the dial, which had come loose too. Thanks for the offer my friend, but I've got this
  8. I know its a little early, but that depends where you are All the very best for 2014 everyone, have a good one wherever you are, stay safe, and don't drink and drive!
  9. Happy New Year mate from a snow free Finland.! Feels strange with no snow. First snow free christmas in decades.
  10. Welcome aboard, and greetings from a UK guy living in Suomi
  11. Welcome to the forums, Florian. The Aqua Terra is a model that is yet to be repped iirc.
  12. Thanks, I am still looking into the options available to me on this movement. Its an odd issue thats for sure. Everything fitted as it should, and everything works as it should, and then suddenly the spring will dislodge, and rest under the date wheel. If I apply light pressure to the date wheel, then all is fine and dandy, and whilst this may point to a temp solution of using expanding bonding on the overlay, creating that downward pressure from the fitted dial, things would work, but I would not be happy with this solution, and consider it a bodge, so looking to getting this done right. ETA parts are my next port of call though thats for sure.
  13. I feel your pain, I am currently looking for some guidance regarding a loose date wheel in an Explorer II I have in for repair. Its secured, and located correctly, and works as intended, but its loose, and pops out every so often, so much so, I am not even going to fit the overlay, dial etc. Need to figure out how to secure it.
  14. Amazing photos again my friend, well done!
  15. I find that a clean nano-fibre cloth works well. Micro-fibre are ok for general cleaning.
  16. You state yours has a genuine crown? I take it the genuine tube was fitted too? Photo of genuine, and rep tubes.. Genuine on the right. (It's my own photo) When you unscrew the crown, it should pop out to the winding position. The crown itself has a spring in it, that enables this. Whilst screwing the crown down, its quite normal to wind the movement whilst doing so. I have a franken, with genuine parts, an IWC 3717 just like yours, and its ETA7750 is a Tissot movement. No problems at all in it doing this. The only issue I had was the Tissot stem was too thick to accept the genuine IWC crown which was quite odd to me, but there's a first time for everything. I managed to fit another ETA 7750 stem to it no problem though.
  17. Amazing photos, and the magnification is so good, it shows the shocking amount of contamination, and foreign bodies in those movements.
  18. Its actually a classic that, and will increase in value over a few Decades
  19. Its terrible isn't it. Even the chronograph hand is on the p!ss lol
