  1. Pretty much an Omega noob, so bare with me: I have a Omega PO 42mm V5 on the way to me, I'd like to get a mesh bracelet for it. What size bracelet does the 42mm rep take? Thanks in advance
  2. Oh man, sorry the lume popped off like that. Really nice build all the same!
  3. My three favorite watches just happen to be Tudor Subs. Here's hoping that the rumors about a fairly accurate Black Bay rep are true
  4. the blue flakes in this thread are killing me....really jonesing for one BAD!
  5. Compared to some of the super reps that pop up on this thread, my two aren't even contenders, but I love my Tudor subs anyway
  6. It seems like the curved Tropics are a bit pricey (for whatever reason), but no need to spend $150 on one, like others have said, try Ebay. I think they look awesome on a vintage Rolex, IMHO.
  7. Not gonna lie...I haven't been this excited about a new rep in a long time. A Black Bay is probably going to be my first gen purchase when the hype cools and they start popping up used at slightly more reasonable prices, but I welcome a 'super' rep and will gladly pony up for one to hold me over.
  8. 6536 rep...I gotta get a nice puffy relume done to it one of these days....still puts me in a Bond mood none the less
  9. I used to live in Myrtle. Met my wife there...Great place, good people. LOTS of partying
  10. Also, there's what look like some water marks and a fleck of something on the inside of the crystal. Kind of annoying as it was described as "mint". That will be taken care of when it's disassembled for aging.
  11. I just got this one in the mail today. Bought it used off another forum. I give it about a 7/10 for accuracy, but it will hold me over until the right fraken/super rep comes along. I'm going to send it off to a buddy for some light aging. Will post more pics when it's finished.
  12. This was the latest from Andrew for my order: We are waiting for the factory to pass us the stocks before we can prepare the QC pics. Please do be patient. There is also a lot of backlog of orders to exit. Thanks. Andrew I continue to wait....... Glad you lucked into one DocThor.
  13. I think this is a better option from Trusty in terms of accuracy/looks. He even claims all parts are interchangable with gen parts (for what it's worth....): http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_11&products_id=7092 He has three movement options, you can opt for a 2813 at $118 which should be easy on your pocket. Just an FYI: I placed an orderd for a couple of these 'ultimate vintage' 5112/13's on April 3 from TT. I asked if they were in stock before ordering, he responded with "yes, I should have them". Turns out he doesn't, and can't give me an estimate when they'll arrive. Just something to consider before ordering.
  14. Beautiful builds, wow! I hope one day, when my knowledge is much better, to attempt a build. Currently, I just try to find the best rep I can and stick with it.
