  1. I'll also add, that buying a chronograph with a seconds at the '6' should be generally avoided as the problems are well documented. Example, Rolex Daytona's seem to have a high failure rate as I have read on this site.
  2. I'd add that anything with a SW2000 movement is pretty reliable and easy to service should you have a breakdown.
  3. A genuine Rolex Air-King 116000 for Thursday.
  4. A Genuine IWC 3725-03 for me today. Been weeks since I last wore it.
  5. Thanks for this detail!
  6. I have experienced this problem as well. Packages come in and then route to NY for a day or so and then reroute to my destination. My last shipment was held for 2 days in customs in NY, for example.
  7. Nice chronology!
  8. #Truth
  9. The 3777 looks fine. Don't fret about it being oversized.
  10. Excellent information. Does the ZF expect a Q4 2015 or Q1 2016 release?
  11. Good point.
  12. That white dial with gold numerals version is quite nice. I may jump in after I sell something else.
  13. Nice little afternoon dive project. Looks like they were off the coast of Formentera, Spain. The water is very clear there so finding it would be fairly easy.
  14. I really like that Blue themes model. So classic.
  15. I have a bracelet from a v7 I can sell you.
  16. Will you cover the Noob v5 in this review? Happy to send you my piece when it arrives if you would like to use it for the analysis. PM if you are interested. Thx!
  17. Right! I think I am going to buy the Noob v5 now. I haven't owned a GMT II since high school when I bought one from a dealer and returned it 2 days later. It was $1575 + tax back then and I knew I could not afford it. I wore it to party, boxed it back up and returned it. I don't think I could pull that off today. http://www.torobravo2015.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=39_217&product_id=1021
  18. YES. Andrew agreed to swap it for a white dial version. I should have it in a few weeks.
  19. Bleh....That Tudor is [censored]. Fugly!
  20. Strange. I have an email saying they WILL provide QC photos only after a cash Western Union payment in full is made to a 'Yu Matsumoto'. In another email, they claim they have an employee pick up the cash daily. I stand by my original opinion that this is a cash scam. I guess it only take 1 patsy to net themselves $390, right?
  21. Hi, folks. Another member (1932polo) and I have been exploring some new Patek offerings from a Japanese maker and they are definitely questionable. Please read our detailed thread here if before you decide to purchase from them. Their email address is 'swiss.orders@gmail.com' If you are interested in seeing my email exchange with this claimed factory, I am happy to provide it to you. PM me. The thread on another forum is here. Read on.
  22. Believe me. I have tried. I sent another email this evening asking to pay in 1/3 increments along with any sort of references. Sadly, more of the same. I also asked to them to show a picture with my name and date before payment. They refused. This, in my opinion based on dealing with Andrew, Toro and other dealers, is a cash and carry scam. I recommend avoiding this factory until their practices change or they show some willingness to to provide proof of products before payment and shipment. Risk management is key with a new partnership. Good luck if you commit to purchase here. And please update the board of how the sale works out should you go forward. I am not doing business here until there is more information. Good luck.
