if Klink is using fake names now... what happens later on when hes using names like Pugwarsh, Two_Tone, Stephanne, DaytonaFOURme or LegendsofSpeed... all well known members with only slight miss-spelling. If hes crazy enought to start off with ALL this [censored] all at once.. just imagine what hes capable of.. hes got dealers set up here also.. not that im accusing him, but anyone could set up fake dealers under reputable names and take credit card and personal info... then everything goes all the hell in a hurry... I would be VERY careful and NOT buy anything from this new Repli-cat forum until we figure out whats going on here... dizz

i hear the new wm9 seadweller will use a 2893 movement with correct crown position.. just order one without the expensive ETA movement and toss in a 3035 woo hoo!!!!

i bought one of these sets of 5 crowns and they are very nice.. no damage to the naked eye that cant be buffed out.. threads seem good too. A lot of the time when they service a watch they will just replace everything.. crown, tube, gaskets, bezel insert etc Just be sure to email them and ask if they are the new style 24-703 or if they are the old style triplock 24-702. If they are the 702 style then you'll never find the tubs to fit them so forget it. the old tubes are about $200 compared to $15 for a new style tube. They are not interchangable.

wow that turned out really nice. The crown guards fit that crown perfectly IMHO. I think you have made a very good example of the 1655. Would be nice to get that flat top 3 datewheel in there but i think it looks ok this way. You've actually inspired me to do my own 1655. The newer explorers do nothing for me but this vintage one is very cool

Well i've finally taken the plunge... bought a used DW daytona today.. sourcing a bracelet.. gen crown, tube, pushers, crystal etc for now... then the V23 movement later... its the mystery movement case. Its been serviced and runs good apparently so thats a bonus for now.. I'm starting to comb the rolex sections here and RWI so get ready for the questions guys!!! LOL

very nice 1680-8 Heres mine... dated to 1969.. black nipple dial. Just serviced the movement and swapped a new gen t-127. Crown is orig 24-702
