i have an older v1 or whatever it is. The only issue i really have is the bezel insert. Yours looks much better than mine. I tried painting mine to make the numbers more BOLD but its still not quite right. dizz

Do u want parts for the older exp II with plastic crystal or the Newer version with saphire crystal? I might still have a really nice newer style exp II dial, case and bezel. Pm me with some info as to what u are building and i will see if i have the parts u need

Could the incorrect mercedes hands have been installed during a service at a local watchsmith? I had a gen snowflake blue dial and insert years ago. Bought it broken for $250, had it serviced and repaired for about $300 by my watch guy. Kept it a year then sold it for $1200 (good deal for me at the time). Wish I kept it now. They are worth a lot more than that now. It was my second gen rolex and that was About 20 years ago

yes that is the perfect submariner!!!! Just needs some AR on the inside of the crystal and it would be PERFECT! Maxi dial is awesome!

If you can remove the hands and put them back on then you will be able to remove the dial and reinstall it. removing the dial is MUCH MUCH easier than putting the hands back on IMHO

Thats a beautiful dial.. but i doubt its gen for $600 At best its a refinished gen dial but probably from a great white.

I wouldnt sell that. You should do double AR on the crystal though... or at least single side AR. I know its incorrect but DAMN would that dial look great if you could see it without the glare.

yes i agree.. redial at best. Not too bad though. I dont like the top of the "L" in rolex being centered under the cornet. Looks wrong to me. I have a gen 1680 white dial in my franken 1680 and the L isnt centered. its close to center but not dead on light yours. Mine is slightly off to the left.

These watches are way overpriced on this site. I can pretty much guarantee that this is the same Asian 7750 modified movement that you get from a dealer here for a couple hundred bucks. Ive seen Gen ETA7750 daytonas but they are like $900usa. The ETA7750 is like a $400 movement just by itself. Plus this one looks like the subdial spacing is pretty good so if it is ETA they have added the same [censored] messed up adapter to get the seconds@6 and its going to be a timebomb anyways. The problem with these daytonas isnt the A7750 but the conversion that they bolt onto it. All this site sells is cheap quarts and asian 21j movement watches. Dont be fooled by scam dealers. Stick with the trusted dealers here.

I dont understand why long term dealers here have watches at good prices and good customer service yet most of the noobs always want to buy from random unknown sites? Doesnt make sense. For example, I'd rather buy a DVD player from a trusted dealer or store than try to save $5 and risk buying it out of a Van from some dude behind the 7-11. lol

ok i see what you're saying.. basicly manufacturing quality control.. Ive seen rollie reps with screws that are too long and stick out the other side, crowns that dont screw down straight, end links that have big gaps and of course bezel pearls that just make you laugh when you see them because they are about 1/8" off center from the painted marker...

well i must say that my asain movement watches are more accurate than my ETA watches... go figure. These are all aproximate. Im not that anal when it comes to accuracy but i do notice that sometimes i compare the time to my blackberry and my watch will be 2 or 3 minutes off after a few weeks. These are the watches i wear the most. Franken 1680 sub 2846 ETA (serviced) - accurate about +2 sec per day. Super Avenger Asian7750 - Accurate maybe +2 sec per day with no adjustment at all. very impressed with this watch. Modded 6.75 serviced A7750 - Seems accurate but dont wear it that much. Super sea-dweller ETA - gains about 5 min a week GEN Breitling BCE - needs adjustment AGAIN, gains about 2-3 min a day modded pam127 Asian 6497 - accurate within a few seconds a day. modded 16610 with ETA - loses about 10 sec per day SO basicly i am having better luck lately with asian copy movements... and oh yeah my new DSSD with copy ETA is running about +3 seconds out of the box and feels very good when setting the time and manual winding. Forget buying ETA especially when it comes to non-chronograph watches... go for the Asian copy when you can. They feel very solid and keep excellent time so why spend more?

Hopefully after the Asian games are over things will go back to normal... but in the meantime many dealers are getting popped and the GZ watch market is an easy target for PR reasons. We're waiting to hear back from Angus to get the lowdown. T4D and hont have posted over at RWI explaining quite a bit.

The biggest tells that you can see from 6 feet away are the crown guards and the rehaut. I am talking about the Submariner of course because thats the most comon Rolex rep. I personally wouldnt worry too much about the bracelet screws. If your bracelet screws are that bad, then you probably have bigger tells that probably arnt fixable anyways.

rep 1570 = Bigfoot They probably do exist but so far no proof. lol
