After having a German day-wheel installed in my franken 3717, I noticed a differences in color and possible texture between the day wheel and the date wheel. The date wheel was a brighter black with a soother texture where as the German day wheel was a more flat black with a texture very similar to the gen dial. Has anyone else noticed this difference? I remember seeing a post about this. Does IWC use their own date/day discs that are different from the ETA versions?
