  1. It is red oil HP1300 on the slow parts and Moebius 9010 for balance and other fast parts. Then there are other two different ones for the pallet stones and the friction of the center wheel pinion.
  2. Yep, from eta web site, in the technical documentation. Plus the web
  3. Hayden, I'm going through the same experience Isn't it amazing? And also a great patience exercise
  4. Ok, finally yesterday I found in my office a nice box from CousinsUK waiting for me. I got my oils and my greases, so in the evening I started to work again on this movement Firtst a shot of the low cost solution I've found to keep my pieces, it's done by a capped Tupperware-like container, that can be properly closed to keep the dust out, and a silicone cake mold (the ones that can be placed in the oven), which has the advantage to not release any debris and also to make the smallest parts not to be "eaten" by textile weft: Here it's a bit full because there're 2 movements inside (part of the second is in the black container). About the reassemble: well, I took 2 full hours to just clean, rinse, dry, oil and reassemble the damn keyless levers and the balance plate jewels. It's not that difficult... Once you got how the things have to be put in place Surely a lot of patience and very firm hand are need
  5. If you mean about shining, well that's a matter of light & reflection. When I ordered my Calibre de Cartier the pictures appeared to have the polished parts of the dial really bad, like brownish, but when it arrived it was really ok
  6. What do you mean? Here is the gen (with a lot of photoshop to enhance the details):
  7. OPS, sorry, I misunderstood. Anyway here you can have the answer: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/145523-chs-noob-gen-style-bezel-construction-gmt-ii-16710/
  8. If CHS means Chinese, it is like the Swiss one. Look my post in the Movement Q&A part of the forum
  9. Very good job, congratulation mate!
  10. I think that only some specialized modder may give you advice. 1st because only a fodder can tell you the exact size that can fit in your REP, 2nd because to get an ar one you probably need a gen one, and we go back to point 1. If your REP has still its sapphire glass you may have it treated for the at. In eu Sunnydale from RWI does this.
  11. @Versaceboy: conside that it depends also on how much the watch has been wound...
  12. Hi Fraggle, have you tried some Linux based (open source) software? i.e. this distribution: http://www.linuxcnc.org/
  13. Niceeeee but, mate, I prefer these ones, optional in background included (even if I think that a Jaguar, long term, is a better investment!)
  14. Nice one, but the dial is a bit too similar to BR ones. LumTec is famous for his enhanced luminova, it would be nice to have a night shot of it My curiosuty: do you have some German watch? Some of them are really really nice, starting from the "cheap" ones like the Zeppelin/Junkers
  15. Welcome from Italy! And please say "Ciao" to your wonderful city for me. I've been there 3 full days in January and I've been in Karakoy (where there was my hotel), ate good fish for few lira in the fish market next to Karakoy Sandal port, walked up and down to Galata tower and Taksim square, went to Fener and admired the colorful houses there, passed by the Roman aqueduct, bought my very first rep (the one that triggered my attention to watches) in the Gran Bazar and ate a GREAT durum behind Nuruosmanye Mosque, got some nice shot inside the Cistern, walked up to the Blu and the Suleymanye Mosque and down to Fatih to get some great roasted goat. I drunk tea in the "tea place" in Uskudar, near to the sea, and walked through Uskudar market... Your city is simply AMAZING. Can't find any other word for it. I hope to be able to come back, one day or another!!!
  16. LOL, it's better to loose that to find such kind of "girl"
  17. Nice. You'll have to find a great tattooer to make such a complex thing... Just a think... I don't know how old are you Ezio, but are you sure that, when you'll be like 50 or 60 a skull will still fit you?
  18. Strange movement... Never seen one like that... Not a 7750 for sure! Looks like a chinese cheap 21.6kBPH one. Which is the function of the subdials? second @3? The other 2? Anyway, it's a low end rep, not a top quality rep at all mate.
  19. Hi, very nice piece. If you want to spend some money on it, as 1st thing make it to be cleaned, oiled and regulated (service the mechanism). Then go for the strap My 2 cent
  20. 1st day of my new ceramic Iwc with gen-like repainted (by me, see in the Iwc section) top gun logo on the side
  21. Bloody BP ones... I have had 2 of them, both came with a mixed eta clone and eta gen movements (both paid as asian clones, and this makes me think one more time that there is NO difference in BP watches between Asian and ETA versions...). The first one got crown and stem flying away at 1st time regulation (brand new), the second, again brand new, got the stem not going back into winding position after time and date regulation. Both with hard keyless mechanics. I'm now fixing them, but never again any bloody BP rubbish. Ah, and no, they aren't using the "pos" Z2 movement...
