  1. The procedure is the same: go in the TD list and check them one by one to see if you can find what you're searching for. If you don't find it it will be difficult that we'll be able to add a lot to that result.
  2. Sometimes they ask this because we may be iper-critical looking at them and push a noob to ask for other pieces without a real reason. These are reps, so you should compare them with the gen BEFORE to buy, in order to see if their unavoidable flaws are acceptable or not for you. Once you've chosen your model the QC pics are needed for mainly 2 reasons: 1) to be sure that the watch is going to be sent to you is the model you wanted (and believe me this is important!) 2) to check for real problems like scratches / bad assembly etc If a newbie doesn't follow this path and post here a QC pic then we can start pointing out that "oh, the second hand is shorter then the gen" / "oh, the font of the date wheel is a bit bolder then the gen" etc, and he is moved to refuse the watch. All these checks should be done by him in advance, especially with sites like Andrew's one that shows QC example pics, and therefore drive the decision to purchase or not a specific model in advance. And even in this way it's not always easy: Rolex DayDate II exists in a multitude of dials combinations, also changed during the years. The TAG Gran Carrera cal 36 that I'm expecting from SuperMirrors has black seconds hand while at TAG official site it is red (but then you go on chrono24 to compare and discover that it exists gen also with black hand version)...
  3. He's retired from the watch world, unfortunately.
  4. The jeweler will use his pin removal tool like the other guys that did the same. So he will have troubles too, and eventually refuse to do that on a watch not bought from him...
  5. Finding a new tube with PVD and that will fit the rep case? Not sure that it will be feasible
  6. Do you mean that the case is different? This is the El Cheapo: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5&products_id=11568 This my version: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5&products_id=11573 The cases to me looks the same (also the TT reference are from the same batch: ROLGMT097B is the cheapo, ROLGMT097C is the ETA), don't you think, Rolexman? I'm also worried about taking the case out: will I need to take out the bezel and the glass, or it will come out from the back? Tnx!
  7. Easy: be in hurry (I was in the airport just after the security checks) and try to wear your nato-strap watch. Then see it falling to the ground and land exactly on the crown. I'll probably buy the "el cheapo" version and then transplant the movement (witch is a gen ETA). I like this model too much...
  8. pcardoza, you catched exatly the watch I was thinking about
  9. Price of TTime are aligned with similar watches with the Miyota 21.6kBPH clone movement. Only take care that they may not have the AR coating on the glass...
  10. Yes, WL takes some 2 3 days to reply normally. Sent from my RM-914_eu_italy_215 using Tapatalk
  11. No similarity in the name and not in Conus, but this one is a TD and participant of RWI forum: http://www.watchlume.net/
  12. Yeah, it's BIG... But without the rest of the body it may appear bigger than what in reality it could appear Thanks Coff!
  13. Frag, search on YT for "Office Rage Compilation"
  14. Try changing the browser: install Chrome and Firefox and try with them.
  15. We're expecting some pictures and a review in the Rolex area then
  16. Hi NW, may you point out the link of the watch you're referring to (on any of our TD sites)? There are so many Sub around that it's nearly impossible to get the exact one.
  17. Confirm: from Italy it's up and reachable.
  18. If I was you I'd have taken the Noob so called V4 from ToroBravo ( http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=39_115&product_id=1014 ) or its green twin ( http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=39_115&product_id=849 ). And with Asian2836. The one with caliber modified to match the Rolex look isn't that reliable. Moreover are you sure about the AR coating of the sapphire glass?

  20. jmicro, give me just the calibers, and if you don't like selling them, so give me them for free
  21. Well, 10US$ for reinforced pluriball envelope like this http://www.busteimbottite.it/macrohome/buste-imbottite.png isn't so much, in respect to have a not working Pam due to a stupid broken micro part...
  22. That's an old model. The 2014 one is around 550€. Search the web for reference T048.417.27.207.01
  23. Man, are those calibers working? If yes DON'T trash them!!!! Spare parts are really needed around here!
