  1. They sell the strap alone for $39.00, for a reasonable alternative in any size or color that's not bad... add a logo clasp for $9.99 here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181534891671 so not bad and you are not paying the 25-35 shipping charge on top either; at the end of the day it's an alternative, which fits well and wears well.
  2. Angus has posted pictures of the corrected 300 and it looks great!! Correct white second hand and 8400 rotor! All new pictures... Says it is ready to ship
  3. Pumpkin!!?? I thought that was Carousel Red... ie or maybe it's just me...
  4. Just got back from a late evening appointment... wore my NEW DBlue DSSD from TT (better pix tomorrow...)
  5. I read 21mm @ ABTW Ariel did a hands on review of the Gen.
  6. I'm liking this watch more and more, I think it would look nice on a dark gator strap w beige stitch. The lugs seem very long though, I wonder how it would look on a strap? might be better suited to a NATO. The blue face Ti watch is REALLY the one I would prefer so if anyone from NOOB is out there.... Please.
  7. Agree with the others, try 17track... I usually find 9-10 days from the time the PO in China accepts the pkg, NOT from the moment the tracking number was created. Relax a bit and it will soon be an experience you may or may not decide to share with others, I like to keep this game to myself personally IOW let em drool!
  8. 6 years as a member... 3 posts in total and only this one posted today can be read from your history, I'm curious your basis for comparison.
  9. You will have to let us know... maybe share a QC pic also so we can see what is actually being shipped.
  10. I have bought several straps from this vendor on ebay, in my experience the product is exceptional both their leather and rubber straps. I had the straight end previously on a 42mm PO, it is soft and wore very well for over one year and going strong, the white stitch held up well against dirt and other stains, the rubber did get a bit shiny but it maintains easily. The curved end's are new, so I purchased one for my 45mm PO "SkyFall"... yeah the one that doesn't exist in nature. It installed easily and fits very well the curve is tight to the radius of the lugs and the standoff squares the watch nicely on the wrist. The 45mm watch is much easier to wear with a rubber strap since as it tightens the watch to your wrist and really slims the profile of the watch on it's owner. The texture is a bit of a suede/velveteen finish and only time will tell how well it repels dust and the like, but for now once again I am satisfied with TimePiece Republic and their strap.
  11. Andrew at TT is now offering the new 300 at a slightly better price: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=12344
  12. DDG! drop dead gorgeous! An acronym usually reserved for the lady in my life... but it fits here. Beautiful timepiece AJ.
  13. Well Mike you convinced me with your earlier post, just waiting now for the final confirmation from Andrew... The comparison shots are icing on the cake, this DeepSea Blue is an excellent rep. It seems BP has done a fine job with it, even if they quoted Swiss Made! LOL I can live with that.
  14. Thank you Mike, I greatly appreciate that response.
  15. Well it looks great on there is no doubt about it... And the pictures are likewise excellent, I especially liked these two, so thank you for posting them.
  16. Gorgeous watch. I love the color of the dial but worry about the size of the watch... it wears BIG, currently I do not own anything close to 18mm thick. So that brings me to a question, a personal opinion but how does it feel on your wrist? can you wear it with sleeves? Another sideways question: Can the back be changed with another case back to lower the watch on the wrist? when desk diving rather than deep ocean exploring?... or am I the only one that might consider such an abomination?
  17. Thank you for the response, I have noted this trend as well.
  18. Truly a loss, I too grew up on Mork & Mindy and everything Robin Williams did afterward... so maybe we can celebrate his success' as well as mourn the loss. Why not list a favorite performance along with your message? Fave: Dramatic roles, The World According to Garp and One Hour Photo (chilling performance).
  19. Very nice, that TO looks great wearing shark mesh!
  20. Ariel Adams did a similar story recently http://www.ablogtowatch.com/tag/fake-watches-and-replica-watches/ For personal use I can't see the harm, but a short cursory look at Fleabay shows all too many being passed as legit. That is wrong, I don't care who you are, if I pass one on it gets full disclosure of what it actually is. JMHO. Caveat Emptor is a rule best adhered to, but then so is personal responsibility.
  21. I purchased one of their O Skyfall reps, my only complaint is it was listed as a correct 42mm but the watch I received was 45mm extraordinarily built but not my personal size preference and far worse not the correct size. The lume is bright and single color blue, the bezel is a correct matte finish, dial decorations are very nicely done, weight is identical to gen., the band is tough, heavy and was easily sized to fit, it is just too big, also the crown was incorrect. In the end it was an introduction to reps and I will likely loose it on to a friend and go for the noob LMPO as a replacement. BTW the site is down now and supposedly closed forever. The most positive aspect of the sale was working with Nick, good guy I hope he makes it back into the market they offered a fine Deep Sea Dweller!
  22. Fireball... mixes well with any of the Apple Ales, try that for a change of pace. As to Scotch, personally I enjoy Glenmorangie 'The Quinta Ruban', interesting finish due to aging two years in Port casks; not bad, in fact very fine for a 12 year old.
