Good choice with the white face Explorer II! I bought one from Trusty two weeks ago and made a short review here ( adjustable hour hand version) Does anybody know how the bezel is fastened to the case? It is possible to just "flick" it off to align the numbers..?

I have the SMP, have ad it for about a year. It has been my favourite daily wearer, but is never attracts comments. I have ordered the SMP chrono from TTK, and are waiting for it... A nice big Chrono that definently grabs attention is my Chrono Avenger in Titanium. Not everybody likes it, though.. Personally, I find it a bit too bulky.

Quality over quantity! A nice collection

Does anybody know whether any dealer has the "1000m" with regular Seagull ST25 Asian automatic movement?? I have a friend who really likes it, but he don't wants to pay the extra bucks for the 7750 movement.. To be honest, I cant either see the benefits with the 7750 in this one..

Gorgeous watch, and good pictures! I am starting to like the two-tone Navitimer. The gold adds a sense of flair to the tool-like Navitimer..

Nice picture of the genuines! I just wonder... Sorry if this has been discussed before.. Why are the hands longer on the white model than the black?? I have seen a black Ingeniur at my local AD. The minutes hand extended all the way to the minutes track, and the hours hand almost touched the hour markers.. Sure this is the normal setup??

@gioarmani Is that an Air-King in your signature???

Review Of Tag Link Automatic Chronograph 7750
chrgod replied to By-Tor's topic in By-Tor's Watch Reviews
You are right that the first version of the Link Chrono had a rather bad date font, looked like some homemade "Times new Roman" datewheel... But the latest version is way better. You can easily distinguish between version 1 and 2 by looking at the subdial@9.. 2006 Version has a bigger subdial@9. -
What's The Diff Bet Trusty's 2 Explorer Ii Models?
chrgod replied to bklm1234's topic in The Rolex Area
No, the hour hand on the rep moves freely, not in 1-hour incerements. There is one disadvantage, I have discovered: The minute hand and gmt-hand are connected. On mine, when the gmt-hand points exactly on an hour mark, the minute hand are five minutes past... No way to align this without uncasing the movement.. A minor, but slightly irritating flaw.. -
Thanks, yep its a cool membernumber! Sorry for insulting your son. I like your big replica project, building a 356 speedster!! Cool,Is it easy to get it road-legal in Denmark? It is very difficult in Norway... Else, I would have built a 550 Spyder...

Nice young lady with DRSD and PAM!! Some nice pics, thank you.

Wow! Thanks!

Wow... These are just getting better and better... Amazing pearl! For a second I thought they had put a cyclops on the date!! Guess I have to align the bezel myself, when my SMP Chrono arrives from you. I ordered from the very first batch.

Yep... I was also tempted to post pictures of Andrews new delivery system, when I did the little review on my latest watches... But decided it might be better too keep a low profile on it.. **Edited**

What's The Diff Bet Trusty's 2 Explorer Ii Models?
chrgod replied to bklm1234's topic in The Rolex Area
Nice link! The Explorer II is on its way to its new owner now.. but probably I will buy another one for myself..I doubt that it will get much better than this.. This is a close-up of the crown: The crown might be a bit too big, but is is even more obvious that the crown guards are too big. The whole crown should be visible between the guards. By the way; The logo on the crown is not very well defined, but edges are sharp and crisp. A nice crown that is easy to handle. -
What's The Diff Bet Trusty's 2 Explorer Ii Models?
chrgod replied to bklm1234's topic in The Rolex Area
Yep, I got the Exp II with adjustable hour hand from Trusty yesterday... Review Very nice piece.. Finish and details on the Explorer II are spot-on, at least to me. But I find the adjustable GMT-hand on the old version more intuitive to use than the adjustable hour hand. The new version requires more thinking. -
- Omega SMP Chrono.. ( On its way from TTK at the moment! I have waited two years for this one!!) - Tag Heuer Link Chrono ( somehow I still have not bought this one..) - IWC Portoguese Chrono - New generation Navitimer, with good date font - Trustys vintage Heuer Chronosplit ( A weird one, I know..) - Omega Planet Ocean 42mm ( I never can decide between steel bracelet or yellow leather..) - IWC Ingeniur.. ( Somehow, this plain watch has got into my top-ten! ) - Breitling B-1 ( I wish for a good replica of this one..) - Omega Aqua Terra on leather. - Cartier Santos.. ( I do not know much about Cartier, but those big, angular watches have grown on me..) Sorry, no PAMs on my top-ten... I have a 111H and a 127 lefty, thats enough at the moment

Andrews new Chrono-Matic does have Jap Quartz inside... But with the current flow of good replicaes, it is only a matter of time until a 7750 rep comes out.. Regarding the Navitimer Serie Speciale, I have the white dial version with black subdials. To me, that looks better than the black dial version. Just a personal preference. Send me a pm if you need pics. Very nice team effort!!

Breitling Chrono-matic And Corums Admiral Cup Chrono
chrgod replied to Dani's topic in The Breitling Area
I like the Chrono-matic! Big and busy, yes.. But that is the Breitling look. One advantage with quartz movements is that the date looks really good. Not set-in like on the modded 7750ies or Lemanias. -
Gmt-master Ii And Explorer Ii, The New Generation
chrgod replied to chrgod's topic in The Rolex Area
Thanks.. There is a proper red/black version of the GMT-Master. But the dealer I ordered from just mixed up and sent me the red/blue version... Anyway, I dont need to send it back for replacement. Red-Blue looks a bit "Seiko", but ok. -
Gmt-master Ii And Explorer Ii, The New Generation
chrgod replied to chrgod's topic in The Rolex Area
The hour marker surroundings on the EXP 2 are actually black, as for the genuine.. I bought it for a friend, while the GMT-Master was for me. Think I rather should have picked another EXP2... I somehow think the GMT-Master looks old-fashioned and a bit "cheap" next to the white Explorer 2. The Explorer II is a nice "stealth-Rolex"... But I have always wanted a GMT-Master, and I had to check it out. -
If You Didn't Already Need A Reason To Buy A Rolex Rep
chrgod replied to Sharkbait's topic in General Discussion
Wow... And I who thought 1900 USD for a vintage 5513 was expensive... Vintage Speedkings and old plain Oysters are still fairly cheap though. -
1. Top Gun ( Best ever!! ) 2. Capricorn One ( Weird, low cost movie, but I like it..) 3. Forest Gump 4. Barb Wire... mmm..

Lately, I have had some "bad luck" in my purchases.. I had just ordered a white Navitimer "Serie Speciale" when the new generation Navitimers started to appear. Likewise, just after I had ordered the Explorer II and GMT-Master II with ETA-movement with adjustable hour hand, I read The Zigmeisters review of the modified 2836-2 movement... Anyway.. Onto the watches: First impression is very good! Crisp, nice dial, good date font and magnification and nice crown. The movements seems to work well, at least for the moment. I might be a nitpicker, but the single issue that has prevented me from buying the previous Rolex GMT watches has been the thick GMT-hand.. Finally they have gotten this right!!! The date font and the numbers on the bezel (for the EXP2) also seems really good. The bottom-inside of the CGs are a bit too fat, but this is hardly noticeable. Sorry for not setting the date to 28... The GMT-Master is not exctly what I had expected.. Firstly, I ordered the Red/black version.. Secondly, the numbers on the rotatable bezel dont have the "Sans Serifs" as in the pictures from trustytime. ( Or am I wrong??). Anyway, a nice watch and a keeper... I might pick up a genuine bezel, modify it and try to fit it. As advertised As received.. Nice watch, but weird shade of black I actually prefer Coke. In short.. The Explorer II is definently the one I would rate highest.. Else.. Information and shipping from Trusty is first class as always!

Good luck with your Railmaster, Insane. A very stylish watch, if you can live without a date. Thanks for the LV from Paul, by the way! I agree that the rust stains inside the clasp dont look well.. But, I have experienced rust on bracelets from Andrew also. Anyway, a very nice LV with excellent dial, CGs and date!
