I'm presumed it was a rep because this is a forum called replica watch guide, and you didn't specifically state it was genuine in your initial post. Why do you think I'd assume you were talking about a genuine watch??
Good luck.
I'd assumed it was a rep. However, given that it's not, then I'd find a different dealer. They should be able to polish and brush the bezel back to new. My local jewelry shop, which isn't an AP AD, does this sort of thing on rings and Rolexes all the time, and they do a great job.
Well, they are committing multiple crimes... and I wouldn't think shooting thieves on your property is a crime in places like TX. Here in Cali, a different story... I'm sure I'd be in big trouble even if I shot someone crawling through my window with a bloody axe at 3AM.
You spoke to the AP service center about installing a bezel on a rep? Heh. Good man.
In any event, I think you should contact one of the recommended/approved dealers on this board about getting a bezel. They may or may not be able to do so, but it's really your only shot.
Is it possible that you're wearing it too tight? I like by bracelets and straps loose in general, and haven't had any irritation from the AP deployant which I transferred over to my AP Bands strap. But I wear it loose enough so that the watch wobbles on my wrist. Just tight enough so the watch head can't make a 180 degree revolution around my wrist. :-)
W0lf - amazing stuff as always. Strangely I never saw too many completed pieces with my cyclops even though they sold out.
Anyhow, enjoy these new pieces. They look fantastic.
Ya I don't know why they're going with double AR at the rep factories now. I would prefer they aim to make them look like gens with single AR on the appropriate models, or nothing as on many other models. If the owner wants to go with double AR, he can do the mod himself.
I've done a few 187s and they turn out fantastic, but double AR on a PAM isn't for everyone:
