Seem to be a mixed bag. @alligoat linked to a 1016 dial which looked very nice, then by chance a friend asked me about a listing for a 16800 which was truly terrible. I’m far from the most knowledgeable around here, so if I can see bad coronet, incorrect font, incorrect spacing and the letters of Rolex not even all on the same level, then it is a pretty shabby dial Study the photos against a genuine dial and make sure you are actually getting what is in the listing photos

I don’t see any insults, I see several knowledgeable individuals taking the time to advise you that fitting a clone movement to that Watch is going to be far from easy and not the best course to take. I strongly suggest you take some time to reflect on your approach before you find yourself with enforced time out to think

Some of the other guys will be along shortly to identify your movement. I am not a watch smith and I don’t want to make an ass of myself (again). I do know the plastic movement spacer isn’t something seen on high end reps and also your case has no machining to allow fitment of Rolex style movement clamps and screws. This and possible problems with stem height and having to change the hands and dial make me believe that it would be less painful and more economical to buy a new watch

Those of us that did manage to get our hands on a Dark Lord dial successful used other methods than being “annoying”. You are a complete unknown and if I was Ivan I would not deal with people who didn’t have impeccable references from within the community either. I am neither as knowledgeable or as skilled as my brothers who have posted above, but I like to believe I have some standing and respect here. I gained it by being patient and humble and learning all I could, by dealing with members here who then remember and pass word that I do not cause problems and stick to my word. I never thought I would get my hands on a Dark Lord dial, but eventually an approach was made to me, to see if I would like one. Unfortunately you are convincing the very people who could help you, that they never want to be responsible for that introduction

I fear that if you carry on this way, if and when you “get to him” the answer will be “no and never”. If he is as good as you seem to think he is, do you really think he is in any way stuck for customers? I advised you by PM that this strategy was deeply flawed.
