  8. Thanks Nanuq!! The folded oyster is my favourite. It's so light and tartly and cheap feeling. It's perfect for a vintage watch!! Yup I did. A bonus complication of the GMT watch. [emoji1303][emoji1303] That compass is a photo prop. [emoji38] I took this pic yesterday that I liked Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Years ago I walked barefoot for an entire summer. It was great. I had a blast that summer so free and easy. I would love to go back and relive it. Thanks to this topic. I did so in my minds eye. [emoji1360][emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Been a while. Here is my new to me 1675 that I acquired from Mike ...The one he claimed he would never sell haha Thanks again Mike! Sead 1675 worked case with PCG , drilled / beveled lugs Clark crystal w/ Clark Bezel Assembly with faded insert Vietnam OCC Dial relumed with matching hands Raffles gmt hand raffles case back with aged caseback decal rep folded oyster Having the pcg and occ dial would make this a rare bird in Vintage Rolex Circles....with this combination it would be of the very early production being build in 1959 to 1960 . I have only seen a handful of "gen " examples online
  16. Thanks Bud!! I am happy with it ! I need to find a beveled acrylic for it to be perfect. finding one in a 33.3mm is kind of hard to come by...

  18. Brief update: Parts arrived in France. Watchsmith examined the movements and parts and was not as impressed as I had hoped. The sandoz movement was missing parts for the keyless and to source parts would cost more than what I paid for the movement. ...the other movement the new eta movement I had would not wind...and would need a full rebuild...not worth it on clone. DOA. he was ready to pack it all back up and send it back. I thought my shot at this was done for. he then remembered he had a gen eta movement in his collection and was willing to part with it for the project. We agreed on a price and he got to work. he was able to broach the hands but in his words its very delicate. He fit the dial and hands onto the new ETA movement. I also commissioned him to fine tune the case work a bit and he also managed to get the Faraday cage to cram in there with everything else. Its done and its in transit back to me! I am really looking forward to its arrival. Here are a few sneak peaks....until it arrives and I can do a proper photo shoot with this and my 6542 fingers crossed and god speed!
  19. No....still waiting on that damn demagnetizer box!! :/ hope this week.
