I thought that the bracelet on mine was very sharp on the inside part and rubbed my wrist. Mine was also of the later batch with the crappy numbering on the datewheel. Maybe I got a bad one but I never could understand this watch as a super rep. It looks close enough but I always thought the fit and finish of it was way off, and oftentimes that is the biggest tell. Your average joe blow on the street won't know the smallest details that we do but they can tell when something feels cheap or poorly constructed. Regardless, nice review.

I find it quite ironic that people are saying that Rolex is redesigning for more "bling" and the only thing people can say about the result is that it goes good with jeans. I think "bling" and jeans don't match and that a luxury brand should not be designing anything to go with jeans. I also think that the regular old stainless sub goes great with jeans as it is.

You are right, wall clocks are entirely unnecessary. If every place I went to had a wall clock, I would have no excuse to buy watches. And as long as I keep buying watches, I don't need a wall clock.

I don't know, I kinda like it. So far the Disney machine has turned out quite a few whores. Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Hannah Montana, and the chick from high school musical. The first two flash their goods to any photographer within earshot and the last two are kind enough to take naked or half naked photos of themselves and post them on the internet. But I don't have kids, so what the hell do I know. If I did have kids they damn sure would not watch however.

From my experience, the people at Tourneau know [censored] about watches. Yes, I have worn mine in and they never questioned it. This was before I knew better, your mileage may vary.

AFAIK At the temp the coating is put on, masking tape won't help. You would end up with the whole thing coated, maybe crappily I might add.
