  1. I am going to venture a guess here, but I seriously doubt that a store in Zurich would sell reps. The watch industry would absolutely crucify them.
  2. At least no one is oogling Katie Hoff, that chick freaks me out.
  3. I am just guessing, but it appears some of the hostility toward the ignorant assbag who posted a rep on a gen forum is being redirected to call the watch in question [censored].
  4. The cyclops mag looks a bit off! Just kidding.
  5. I did not know that rep watchmakers had sales on flawed merchandise! Someone got burned on that watch.
  6. Since that ad looks like a load of [censored], I don't think they would notice. Even if it is legit, I don't think they would notice. Places out to make a heavy profit on watches are, from my experience, the least knowledgeable about watches. Every time I have been to Tourneau they could not tell the different between Rolex and Timex but a small independent watchsmith I use can spot a fake from a long distance.
  7. I like it. I am not crazy about the price either, but I find it much more tolerable than the $1000 Hublot BBs available so I don't know why everyone is screaming bloody murder about the price.
  8. The rubber and diamond (or CZ) don't mix.
  9. Yeah, but PC users are used to buggy software.
  10. Um..yes they can. If you know what you are doing. When Apple moved to Intel they opened the floodgates, you can download OSX for Intel PCs if you know where to look. I have a Dell desktop running OSX.
  11. Let us not forget that now they have expanded into cell phones and sun glasses, two more areas to do wrong in!
  12. Here is the Breitling that doubled as a geiger counter in Thunderball.
  13. Knowledge appropriate for a gen Rolex does not always apply to reps. The movement that The Zigmeister said NOT to handwind was the A7750. I have never had any trouble hand winding my genuine ETA watches, but the asian ones (chrono or not) I have had some trouble with. Save your time, don't handwind it, rock it back and forth a few times and put it on.
  14. I hope my wife does not find out that I bought one for my girlfriend!
  15. I don't know what you guys are talking about, I still don't see a damn watch.
  16. I am not real sure, but I think freddy may like this watch! Really, it seems as every post he is bragging this watch up, something I love to see. It is too easy to become in love with gens, and then as a result, bored with gens. But I think freddy's wife may want to schedule an intervention.
  17. You may also wish to add that the v2 has a more accuate pearl in the bezel. The v2 features the correct "ring" around the pearl where the v1 does not. Nevermind, the watch posted above is apparently a v1 and has the ring. I believe the preproduction images did not have it.
  18. The Omega service center in New Jersey is absolutely awful. Nothing about that surprises me.
  19. I am seriously confused. I thought the V-2 was the one angus has for sale, but you list this one as from Josh. Did Josh make some corrections on yet another model? Can anyone correct me on this?
  20. I like the way you think, but it brings a new meaning to a "tell" on a rep.
  21. Is Spamalot still playing? See that.
  22. I hope they will improve upon it, one of those had some nasty painting on the numbers.
  23. Lume dot at 3 is still crap and looks applied off center as well. Am I alone in thinking the pearl looks better?
