  1. Ha! exactly the argument I use
  2. Nice crystal distortion too
  3. Nice one Pug, welcome to the Fiddy club! Where did you get it from? Any mods planned? Oh and I'm wearing my 183 today.
  4. I did a photo comparison between the two, that you can find in By-Tor's Omega Guide. A rep bracelet should fit a gen. Why would you want to?
  5. 1. Omega Speedmaster Professional 'Moon Watch' 2. Eddie Lee 3. Nope, got the gen though!
  6. Hey good work By-Tor, that looks really mean and moody! Nice.
  7. Nice Omega pair there.
  8. It's a waiting list now!
  9. "I've just climbed out of Eva Green and into my Aston Martin" LOL, genuinely did reading that, nice one Pug. I've resisted, oh how I've resisted but it looks like this beauty will soon be making friends with its smaller 42mm brother.
  10. Sweet pair, congrats!
  11. Not sure what you mean by smoked, pardon my ignorance
  12. PM Finepics; handily, the previous poster! Thanks for the kind words folks.
  13. That was a blast from the past
  14. Thanks very much. The Fiddy should, as an E series, have the ...ERAIPANERAIPAN... engraving, PAMs switched to CDG for the H series.
  15. I would normally go for black dial -No.1 But it looks too similar to an Omega Speedy Pro, so No.2 for me.
  16. Each to their own, I just like their simplicity and the patina on the Historic Brown suits the Fiddy IMHO.
  17. I've been after a Fiddy since I got interested in reps and saw the original on Paneristi.com. When Eddie recently offered his 'ultimate' with swiss & sapphire it had to be mine! As soon as it arrived it was off to Finepics for his excellent work - lumed, pin fix, service and a special bonus a set of Davidsen hands! Many thanks Mark, that was a really nice touch, much appreciated! It was immediately put on a Greg Historic Brown strap, vintage length - L-O-N-G-G-G! Some pics for your delight and delectation... Wrist shot: Close up: The lovely movement: Posed (nice crystal distortion): Strapped up: Lume: Hope you enjoyed looking as much as I like wearing!
  18. Hmm, must get my 183 out of the box, haven't worn it for a while! Congrats on the watch.
  19. Heading out on the town and will be wearing this on a Greg Historic Brown, vintage length. It's L-O-N-G
  20. Guily on both counts too M'lud
  21. This is one of the reasons I rationalised my collection from 12 to 6. All the PAMs have been serviced, the PO will be next, the gen Speedie will be serviced in 5 years. These are the watches I want to last and keep that's why I got them serviced. If another watch catches my eye and it is likely to be a keeper, it'd get serviced too.
  22. All I can say is, WOW! The Zigmeister you're a maestro! Ubi you're one lucky man!
  23. You won't regret it I assure you!
  24. Aye you need a Moonie in there By-Tor
  25. Already have the 42mm, must resist this, must resist!....
