  1. Wow could you imagine finding one of these in that condition?
  2. No these are not OEM. They are OEM quality which should be fine for a rep or even a gen.
  3. Without this board I would have never bought a gen. I've been wearing my fiddy for 2.5 years now. I liked it so much I bought a 111. I would have loved to have bought a fiddy, but the prices are so outrageous now. I've even got a couple friends PAMs from this website. I just like how the people on here are cool, and I love to see watches that are modded to 99% of what the real thing looks like.
  4. Kelster- You are a braver man than me to let an AD try to grind down your crown guards. Sorry to hear about your watch. I know base PAMs are not COSC, but they should still preform at that level. My sapphire is still good, but I have seen quite a few on TZ that had chips especially around the edges. Tech- I really wanted a G series 111, but I had an opportunity to get an F series with 5 straps included so I took it. I just love the Panerai, Panerai, Panerai engraving. Not to take anything away from the new engraving, I just prefer the older.
  5. Gen 111F here. I guess when I got my Christmas bonus I got a little nuts
  6. Nice finish, especially the winding gears! Any idea on the age?
  7. I'll ask him. His email said moneybookers only, but I would think for a small $30 trans he would tak WU and I don't mind any fees. I just don't wanna set up a new account for a $30 item. A
  8. I have a 1st gen 127 from EL. It has the thin hour hand. I'm looking to get my dial and hands Super Lumed by The Zigmeister, but I need a set of correct hands. I contacted Davidsen, but he only accepts moneybrokers and I don't want to sign up there. Anyone have an extra set. Rep lume or SL makes no difference to me. If you think another dealer may have them let me know as well.
  9. Bought some stuff from them on ebay. Top notch and super fast shipping. I'm definately gonna be using that coupon!
  10. The gen doesn't hack and neither do any of the reps that use the ETA Unitas or Asian Unitas.
  11. The one in the first pic looks like the newer movement. I would think them both to be the 21,600 asian movements. The bottom line will be your happiness.
  12. I have a gen I just picked up used a few weeks ago. It is a great watch. I agree with the others that the rep would be 99% with an ETA datewheel. Same with the Link. Just pop an ETA datewheel on and you are 99% there out of the box.
  13. I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you, but that is not the new Asian movement. That is the asian movement with the bad "Officine Panerai" from about 2 years ago. It looks like the paint isnt really even in the engraving. The font is wrong, the wrong size, and the spacing looks uneven. Is it just me or does the crown look far off the case? Either way on the wrist it looks good and if it runs good no one will see the back anyway. I'd be more concerned about the crown then the back. It looks like he left it out far to cover up the gap between the crown and the crown guard. The strap is nice and like I said it looks really nice on the wrist.
  14. And I thought my Greg Stevens was think. The buckle is sick!! How much if you don't mind me asking?
  15. Was that the mystery dial that was for sale on TZ a week or so ago? Looks nice.
  16. Looks great! I'm guessing moving up the bars on the "A"'s maybe a bit much work, but it seemed it you could do that it would be perfect. I agree with not getting the relume. The best part about your watch is that it has a real 100% swiss movement and the bridges are correct for that model.
  17. Looks like he found out who has been assembling all the PAM reps.
  18. Who did the AR on the crystal if there is any? I have an older 127 rep with sapphire and no AR and it looks exactly like the pics you show above. Plenty of distortion and no give away blue.
  19. As said above no dealer has a dial with those things correct. An ex modder on here sold a his gen dial on the bay for like $700 so I think you would not want to go that direction. So maybe Lello has something in the works?
  20. You have been on this website for almost a year now. You know your watch isn't Canal St. junk! The guy was just an a-hole who took a guess that your watch was a fake. I would honestly say that most Rolexes I see out now, my first thought is "is that real"? Probably just a knee jerk reaction since Rolex has been faked since before I was born.
  21. I guess the question is, are you happy with the rep? If so no worries. I never try to pass off my reps as gen. In fact I find that most people are amazed that people make reps that are this accurate. Anyone can buy junk on Canal St. in New York, but what we do with our reps and the mods is pretty interesting, even to people that own gens. Usually at the end of my conversations, I'm almost always asked how or where to get one.
  22. All I can say about that collection is WOW! You have great taste in watches!!!
  23. Guys sounds like a douche. I'd say your first mistake is saying you don't know if it is real or not. If you are wearing a watch that expensive you are gonna know if it is real or not. As others said he knew that and called you out. He's a douche bag no need to worry about the quality of your rep.
  24. This would be a total longshot, but if you could ever find a gen dial for the 112E it would be very hard for anyone to call out. It is quite a longshot, but Flav had his 111 parted out and for sale on the bay a couple months ago so these parts do come along every once in awhile. As far as I know all of Jimmy Fu's stuff is truely 1:1 of gen and accepts any PAM parts you find.
