I wonder if TeeJay would do something for this if we factored it into the cost...his artwork is really great, I think it'd add a touch of class to the calender... great idea Lani!!
I must say I enjoy elprimorosen's avatar and (slightly off topic) TwoTone's signature photo with the glass/watch...classic that.
And of course, my own...
Hey CubanCurl...
A few of my modern and vintage Omegas have push in crowns and are water resistant (Vintages are good for around 100 ft and the modern ones are good for around 300ft). As others have said; just make sure to get those gaskets checked and greased every 2-3 years if you're just wearing it around and every year if you plan to dive/swim frequently.
Oh TT you read my mind... if he owned a store you can be damn sure he had each and every one of those pieces insured... pretty soon he'll be getting a paycheck for 200K or more for those three...
Kings of Leon and new Vampire Weekend on at the moment...
Swung into Peter Gabriel and David Bowie earlier today... Space Oddity seemed like a good idea...especially with scotch
Grains of rice look awesome...Saw that in a link BT posted... let me know which one you're getting Nanuq because I might have to follow suit!
Oh and you're a tricky devil with the "Don't all Doxas..." ... Well played sir!
FF, is that movement all original? Maybe it's just the light but it looks like there's a color difference between the winding bridges and the plate... possibly from cleaning during a service? Not sure, I can't tell... I'm still waiting on pictures of the movement in my Constellation Cal. 564
I'd be very interested to see pictures of that "AAA Grade Swiss" HBB
Not sure what you can do other than contacting your dealer and saying the items were seized... you might be able to write up a fake repair slip for repairs and declare the value of the repairs @ 150 or something like that and pay tax but...I'd advise against submitting false invoices and such (unless your dealer in Thailand sends something...idk)
