I own all four 7753's but took a pass on the 212. IMHO, $700 for a non-date chrono with a clear caseback which shows an undecorated rotor and vaguely visible plastic spacer is a bummer. But it is a very stylish watch and many folks here love it.

Is that a different crown as well? Forget that comment. I forgot to read the comment with the pictures. Beautiful watch.

Also. hour numbers on dial look better than the first generation version but still not up to snuff to the genuine. I also suspect, but you would have to check, that this is the new case and bezel combination which has additional flaws including too large a bezel and out of kilter location of the holes holding the strap pins (too close to case).

Quarks- Now I am curious. I didn't know that anyone besides you, me and sennsi owned one. I have been gone for a couple of days so I have got to start reading.

Augusta is the only place where the winner is proud to be wearing a bright green jacket. Would you expect anything other than Rolex or khakis? Remember Jack Nicklaus wearing th gold president in his prime? I am sure it was a fabulous event to watch though.

Got it yesterday. Looks fantastic. The "smudge" is gone and the dial looks fabulous. What you can't see from Ziggy's picture is that he has managed to achieve the beautiful rose mixed with creme look of true 30 year old tritium dials. I will leave the pictures to Ziggy though. He is better at it then I and I just busted my camera.

I am certainly no doctor but with a number of accident prone kids I have one simple rule. If it is on your face go to a qualified plastic surgeon. I am in the U.S. so you can usually actually wait for one if you are in the ER. If you have any concerns about the aesthetics (size and closeness) of the stitching, take the money fron your future visits and go see one. I have had stitches a few times and usually you simply go back once after seven days or so. The one time I got them in my mouth they were the type that simply dissolve. But the doctor did have me come back to check for healing after some period of time.

Busted for what? Really like the way the AT looks. Is it rep or gen? And if rep, who did you buy it from?

Not sure I would go down that path again. But it was started with all good intentions.

Veni- With you all the way. The Radiomir's, 1950 and 217 just rock with super lume. I have always been a huge believer in the elevator factor. The glow in the elevator just warms the heart. You're shoes and strap will look fabulous as they pass through airport security. Finepics does a beautiful job. 231 on the way. Rose gold and super lume -

Beautiful watch. The color of the gold is beautiful. I am generally afraid of gold reps but I couldn't help myself either. Ordered before Eddie stocked with the other movement. Now that is one you can wear to work. You do need the PAM cufflinks though. Wear it well.
