  1. Lamborghini Diablo SV Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34)
  2. Don't glue it - the winding stem may be broken..if you glue it, you won't be able to wind or adjust time. I'm not really sure how to interpret your description of what is happening, but if something is really broken, glue will not work! You'll need to find out what part broke and replace it. If the winding stem broke and a piece of the stem is stuck inside the crown and you can't get it out, then you'll need a new crown as well.
  3. Why would you need to "crack it open"? The caseback is see-through on the Bond SMP GMT. If it wasn't see through, then you are talking about a different movement since the Bond SMP GMT is co-axial.
  4. How about putting a new overlay on the datewheel then? Or will that make it rub against the dial? The pics of Josh's Senna Link looks to have a correctly aligned date, so somebody must have a correct datewheel.
  5. The gen also uses the co-axial movement and has 6 impulses per second...I assume the ETA's mentioned have 8 impulses per second. There aren't any ETAs for reps that use co-axial technology is there?
  6. Couldn't it be that the person who stuck the datefont paper (overlay???) onto the datewheel just rotated it too far in one direction? Maybe it can be fixed by either printing a new datefont paper or removing the current one and sticking it back aligned properly..
  7. Looks great! One quick question - do deployant clasps and tang buckles use the same straps?
  8. What is involved in realigning the date? Is it just the sticker on top of the datewheel that wasn't positioned correctly?
  9. Maybe it's just my bad photo skills? IMO a very nice looking watch. I'll try again in the daytime tomorrow.
  10. This is my first PAM and I've opened up a can of worms! I've never seen a PAM in person before, and I didn't think I would like them too much, but this one grew on me and holding it and feeling its massiveness is a new experience! Sorry for the lousy pics, but my photography equipment is sub-par...
  11. The RWG Casino is all the adventure I can handle! I got my PAM 090 today and am going to watertest it as well...
  12. Why don't you pull the movement out and seal everything up before the watertesting?
  13. You're right - sorry about that... Makes it much more likely it's some kind of pw harvester.
  14. Possibly, but not necessarily - One of my PC's is cookied into RWG1, and I'm not getting the pw prompt and able to see the images fine.
  15. jraines, The problem is that most of the people who are doing the linking are not the ones reading this thread...
  16. I get the same thing from Thor's avatar if you click "Cancel", the avatar shows a broken image.
  17. If you can't hear the rotor, that may indicate a problem.. Your Mom may only be winding it a little in the morning, and if the rotor isn't helping wind more on her wrist, the watch could stop very quickly. I think that's the first thing you should check on. Where are you located?
  18. Pics in his dealer section. Only noticed one major problem - the pointer on the GMT hand looks too big compared to the gen. Otherwise, endlinks look great, and I really like the stubby point on the hour hand.
  19. Hey I have that watch! Is that a bad sign? Hopefully it's none of our dealers, and also customer lists aren't handed over!
  20. I don't know anything about PAMs, but I don't like the plainer ones. I'm into more complications. I ordered my first last week - a PAM090 power reserve. Looking forward to it!
  21. Yeah, hope Edge wakes up to some good news in his mailbox...must have been an awful day for him.
  22. I think he meant to click on the PAM Power Reserve thread, but got this one instead... And yes, this is still OT, Sorry!! Only time I have ever been asked was when I bought my Dad a gen Tag for his b-day...his first words were.. "Is it real?"
