Yesterday I got the PAM312 after, in the end, a not so long wait... I have to admit the real deal is more impressive then I imagined, the level of detailing is mind blowing. The new mdern PAM line is, at least imo, great....sandwich dial, silverhands, date without the cyclops, "Fiddy" style case, "Fiddy" style CG, slightly domed chrystal, brushed case and polished bezel oh and offcourse the new inhouse automatic movement...I just can't stop looking at it Enough talk on to the pics...

Could be a loose rotor, happens often during transit. Unscrew the caseback, if you don't have a caseback opener you can use a ball made of duct tape and check if the rotorscrew is loose.

Thnx Flydog Sure, the strap is from HKTan. It took a long wait but I guess it's worth the wait, The standard rep strap on the Santos is horrible, probably made from roadkill

Very good news indeed, now let's get the A7750's with the recessed datewheels fixed. I know from at least one dealer that the factories/makers are now able to fix this. From what I heard it is now just a matter of getting the components ready for delivery to the factories/makers.

My guess is the Ingy Chrono has the same issues as the other A7750 Secs at 6. I've had 2 Ingy Chrono's, 2 Daytona's and also 2 Portuguese's. The failure rate is about 50% in my case so it's hit or miss I guess. The Daytona and Portuguese are being advertised as improved movements wich is marketing BS, see the review done by Francisco. I've had one of the Daytona's and one of the Ingy's serviced and the watchsmith told me the later A7750 versions are at least much better then they used to be. In my case the A7750 in the Daytona was the better movement. If you really like the IWC Ingy Chrono have it serviced and the graphite treatment applied and you'll have the best possible change for a keeper.

There is always a possibility of random custom checks, even with packages shipped from one EU country to another EU country. The difference is that the no. of random package checks are much lower. I've shipped to Italy before with TNT, never a problem.

Pam 229 today
