  1. Don't worry, I've had to return a few watches to Joshua. The entire process, until I got the new/repaired watch back took up to 2 months. When it comes to after-purchase support, Josh is the platinum standard.
  2. LOL, you're right Gran. For me, permanent tatoos...not so much. But, is it possible to get a temporary tattoo that washes off in a week or so?
  3. Angus, first off, thank you for such a remarkable collaborative effort on the Pam 359. I look forward to your posts and thoughts about those wonderful little machines we strap on our wrists, you seem to be truly passionate about them.
  4. OK, I remember that info from TTK - something about a micro-stepper on the quartz module? I just have to ask...is Baldrick TTK? Please let's not start a flame session here, thanks.
  5. Sorry but...when someone refers to their new watch as "she" or my "new baby" or gives it a name it sorta creeps me out.
  6. DW v72 version...would his a7750 version be acceptable instead of the v72?
  7. OK, how about... Ebel 1911 Discovery Panda Chopard MM GTXL limited edition chronograph gray dial
  8. Very nice photos, Dave.
  9. Whew, I just had a flashback of the blizzard we had in Chicago February 1st.
  10. Guys, c'mon - the rep manufacturing process, it's cottage industries. There is no parts consistency from run to run. The general philosophy is "it's good enough for 99% of the market".
  11. Very nice! I'd like to know too...am watching Apollo 13 while I work out at my home gym.
  12. Interesting, who is the builder quoted? I very much like the ceramic Sub I bought from Prowatch-Polo (whatever happened to him?), can't find any big flaws on it, seems to be truly well made. But I don't use the glide-lock function at all, guess I fear it will eventually get messed up. That's a real weakness in the rep world - often you can't use the functions of the original design - chronos, waterproofnesss etc.
  13. No expert here but even to my amateur eyes the dial doesn't seem sandwiched at all, it looks flat, no shadows at numbers edges to indicate two levels.
  14. Mmmmm, that blue Nautilus is very sexy. Hont is good, I bought my Slevin from him 2 years ago, his pricing is very good too.
  15. Browngo, I was asking about andyc2's Nautilus, not the Aquanaut.
  16. Just viewed some of his youtube videos, nice to see him handling the watches wearing cotton gloves rather than dirty hands with nails bitten to the quick, LOL. I was kind of impressed, anyone bought from him ever?
  17. N/M, it's from Hont. Is this the new improved version?
  18. Well no, I don't know where to look so maybe you can direct me. Thanks.
  19. Leather May I ask where you got this from? As far as I know the rep blue dial is not available yet.
