  1. Wow.... I thought there was only one (I'm not a Rolex guy!) Thanks for the link. It helps a lot. So does this means that the one in the pic is not even that bad? Does George sell these inserts or are there any other places to check as well?
  2. I'm screwed.... I promished someone to install a green insert in his sub, but for some reason I can't find the right ones. They all have the wrong 4 and 5 numbers. What is the best place to find them? Thanks!
  3. That's too bad! Seems like all the big names share the same policy
  4. Great job man! Looks to me I need a lathe as well Show us when you finish it.
  5. for some reason, I can't stop wearing this one. I think I even like it better than my franken black themes Seconds @ 6 with gen dial.
  6. great shots man! You have to fix that screw though!
  7. That is a great looking strap! really suits the watch well. Few questions: Where did you get the lug screws from? AP as well or a dealer? how shiny is the tachy ring. I've heard it's too shiny if you compare it to the real deal. Any, great looking watch. Hope you enjoy wearing it!
  8. I agree with snoxx. The 38 is a classy watch which works great with a suit. I have it and love it (although it doesn't get much wrist time though ) It's not a "look at me" watch but people will notice it. About the date window, it seems to me that the date wheel doesn't lign up very well. If I remember well, the date wheel on my MBK has an over lay glued on it. perhaps its just an alignment issue.
  9. Wow, they look great Paul. How about a pic of the other side?
  10. Here you go mate!: http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/115655-ultimate-modded-watch-finished/page__pid__822657__st__0&#entry822657
  11. Today I received my gen APROO dial so I could finish the modified seconds @ 6 movement. For the story about this movement see here: http://www.rwgforum....-sec6-movement/ I'm pretty happy with the result. Also I really love the blue dial. I was afraid that it would be kinda boring but in real life it's great. I have tried to capture it but the lightning was pretty bad so I didn't really succeed. Although its not as worse as I thougth is would be, the black tachyring has to go of course. Unfortunatley I haven't found the right one yet, so if anybody
  12. wow, it's beautiful! Enjoy wearing it !

  16. Thanks man. I sanded down the bezel a little (I guess about 0,1mm or so) and then a gave it a new brushed finish. I also polished the screws. That's all Ciao, Sander
  17. First I sanded the bezel a little (I guess about 0,1mm or so) and then gave it a new brushed finish. I also polished the screws again. That's all I did to it.
  18. Thanks guy's. Just waiting for some gen hands now
  19. Wow....never seem this one before. Very very nice! For me it's all weekend this:
  20. Although it was almost perfect (see here the original post: http://www.rwgforum....-my-holy-grail/), one thing kept bothering me. The thick case back. Time to trim it down. It was way more time consuming than expected but the results are great. I thought that it will take half an hour but it took like 3 hours. The hardest part was to brush and polish the side. Originally it was 2,39mm and I trimmed it down to 1,58mm. Although 0,81mm doesn't seem much, in reality it's a huge difference. It looks way more gen now. Also I got I call that my gen deployment arrived, so I picked it up and now it's complete. Hope you like it. Cheers, Sander side by side with non modded one. Inside with room for gasget. Back mounted on the watch. Gen deployment (look at the marks on the inside. Our reps don't have it.) Gen strap as well. On metal.
  21. It's less. I'm not really sure what the best way to measure it because all the dimensions are different. I made you a drawing so that you can take a look. The 7750 date disk is 1,3mm bigger than the 2892 disk (24,55mm -/- 23,25mm) If you defied that by 2 the difference is 0,65mm. Maybe this is the easiest way to tell?
