  1. Yes it has to do with play between the gears. Also some gens have these kind of problems. For instance the minute hand of my gen Franck Muller, jumps forward a little when I push the crown back in. Regarding the play you can try the following: When you set the time, just set the minute hand a little too far and then turn it back to the right time. so if it's 15 past, set it at 18 past and turn it back to 15 past. The problem should be gone.
  2. Shaking it too hard is not so good eighter
  3. You forgot mine.... : http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/104326-modded-rbii-dial-with-cotes-de-geneve-finish/
  4. Yes but you will have a wrong case back though.
  5. I'm pretty sure that v1 will have some flaws which will be solved in the v2 or even v3 model. So for me it takes at least another year
  6. An easy tell is it to look at the release mechanism. The rep has a punched hole to hold the spring loaded ball in place, while the gen doesn't have this.
  7. great shots man. Tempting temptin tempting.....
  8. Hi Theo, That strap looks great with it. Is this with the new 6mm cyclops or is it the 7mm one. It seems like it's nicely centered for the date window.
  9. The gen has a 6mm cyclops and the first batch of DSN's came with a 7mm cyclops. I replaced the crystal for an ultimate 199 cartel crystal. Now DSN is also selling them with a 6 mm cyclops. @ jasonw999: I removed all AR. Also the DSN crystal doesn't have any AR. @ im2: while I had to wait pretty long for the post to arrive, I serviced an other A7750 and installed the new cannon pinion and Lello datewheel. So when the watched arrived I just swapped the movements. A 10 minute job. I didn't replace it for a Swiss one because I really don't see the need to do that. As long as it's serviced right, it's just as reliable as the Swiss one.
  10. Lume is not a problem. That can be re-done. The CG is a much bigger issue
  11. So this will mean that the dial is not compatible with my gen 7753........ I almost pulled the tricker!
  12. I'm sorry but this looks terrible.
  13. I think the problem is the glass case back. I would not buy one with a a7750 in it.
  14. The biggest issue I have with it are the missing silver hand tubes for the chrono hands. Great watch though. I might be getting it and put my gen 7753 in it. Anyone interested in an A7753?
  15. Very nice strap on a classic watch. I really wish they would make an ultimate Long Island
  16. Great build Andy Nice size for Ms Andy!
  17. If I look at it, it's not a real carbon dial
  18. Sorry mate but that doesn't look good. look at the 4 and 5! My experiance with lume is that rework will make it worse. I would not pay for it if i were you. Sorry!
  19. Sorry guys but I'm not accepting work right now. It's even hard for me to find some time to work on my own projects!
