    HBB

Wonder if the Swiss 7750 can be swopped into the HBB yet using the same dial, hands and the rotor. This can be a thought to save all the black screws changing, bridge polishing, adding fake regulator etc. for modding. Only left is the H transfer and rotor bearing mods. Any idea if this will work?
  2. Must admit this is a very high quality piece. Price is not too crazy considering similar level to those high end HBB's. Coming to the bezel height, it may be a visual effect with the ribber ring sitting in the middle. The look may chnange if they correct it it back to the bottom of the bezel. Just my thoughts.
  3. The RB II is a great piece. For all the flaws have been well discussed. If you can live with it, it is a stunning watch on the wrist. Enjoy.
  4. The quality looks superb, but it is massive. Not for an average wrist size though. Wonder why they can make such beautiful Survivor but f**k up the Silver Theme.
  5. Yep, been watching it also. Only if I can get hold of an old scholl 188/196 case set.....
  6. Good to know another project coming up for making the CG. Bear in mind teh A-F series CG is big. So far only JF had the most accurate CG for this series and the actual availabibilty was very limited. The most clssic and high end reps still are those old day A-F releases.
  7. Beautiful watch. Please correct me if I am wrong. Isn't al the Pre-V models use polished CG? Brushed CG's are starting to use from the the H series onwards? I am still confused on this issue.
  8. This iis interesting. The ultimate Milgauss ususally has a quite good lume standards. Try to chrge it under sunlight and see again.
  9. Sealed? Hope he didn't use epoxy. It is pretty simple to open up the case back of the APROO. Just unscrew all the screws and you are done. I don't think they used the Swiss 7750. What price did you pay for it?
  10. How to mod the gold screws? The MBK doesn't have the same constyruction as the gen. The bezel screws are glued and teh fit is pretty tight making it extremely hard to pop them off.
  11. Yeah, how come the subdial hands are not coloured? This is not RB I since the I and II has a completely different look. Where did you get your RB II from? Gio.
  12. Very accurate indeed. Got to be the most accurate APROO so far in the Offshore series.
  13. This is gotta be the most accurate APROO so far amongst the Offshore series. Very nice indeed.
  14. Beautiful watch. If you can remove those smudges on the hands would make it perfect.
  15. Addressed the quality issues to the dealers, hope the factory will make improvemnet in thier next batch of production. But don't expect much until they have sold out the whole old batch first.
  16. Lovely watch. Planned to do the same for my BR03. Can you share how to remove the stem. I still can't figure out. Cheers.
  17. Sometime you can have everything. This is the rep rule.
  18. Very accurate indeed. They even managed to get the dial pattern correct here. Wonder why the factory made a big failure on the Silver!?
  19. The poor hex cutouts on the bezel and the off-centre printings on the subdials quickly becomes an issue. Hope the factory is listening and take the corrective actions quickly to boost the Silver to become a big seller.
  20. This DSSD is really a killer now if Euro can keep up with their QC promises for all the pieces to be shipped like this one Gio received. Yes, Euro's hour markers are the only one on the market that got it correctly shaped with thin edges. No other else got it right, wonder why. If Euro can do the same good dial for the LV, it will be great too. Now this really got me thinking seriously to pull the trigger despite there is the 316F version just released, but the dial completely puts me off.
  21. Yup, the Palp crown works perfectly with the rep CG's.
  22. Yep, this is a common problem with the T crown. Not an easy problem to reslove if you are using a CG that fits the rep crown. The top of the T crown is much more recessed than most of the rep ones, and this makes contact of the lever bottom to the crown top impossible. There is no perfect solution to this. Some members tried to put fill up the recesse area with a piece of metal foil to enable the lever to lock. Thsi can help but you might kill the cosmetic of the crown when viewing frorm the side. Making the tube longer is not a good way as you will not have the crown sit flush to the case.
