The colour is very close indeed.
Only if they can use the hours marker of the Euro dial, then this DSSD really flies.
Perhaps someone will build this franken.......
I see. Always thought Andrew/Josh Safari has the silver linings on the numerials, or at least they do appear so in their web pictures.
Have you seem King's latest Safari which has the correct date window spacing? The numerials also don't have the silver linings in her version.
Cheers.
Good improvements indeed.
But why can't they make the hour markers correct? The metal rim is never meant to be rounded and that thick! Thsi always put me off for the rep Maxi dials.
Anybody has the idea how to reomove the crown out of the watch?
Understand there si a little screw on the caseback, how does it work to release the crown?
Thanks folks.
Very nice lumes.
Though Euro still has the most accurate marker appearance. The metal rims should be flat, thinner and sharp i/o rounded as commonly seen in the ultimate versions. This effect makes the Maxi look smaller.
Great twins.
The hardest part is always getting the correct case.
Even by paying $$$$$$ for the J&W case, it still does have the pusher angle symmetry machined correctly. Best ti to get the gen. case. It is not only money that counts but always depends much on the luck and chance of acquiring one.
If the hands are oxidized, then no luck with anything.
Never use cape cod unless you wnat to leave the hands in brass colour. Cape cod will remove the plating on the hands very effectively.
Rodico is good for finger prints or removable dirts, that's all. Once the hands are scratched, there is no returns. Only solution is to get a new set.
The thing I don't qutie get is the picture approval process. What is the purpose of it? Some memebers already reported actual watch received is not the one they saw in the pictures. Afterall it is very hard to make verdicts just purely from seeing the digital photos.
Shouldn't ET do their job on the QC as they are always proud of rather than passing the ball to the buyers?
This really puzzle me if the V5 is made by different factories with differnt quality/specs.
Comments from memebers taking the V5 really do vary and doesn't show a good consistency on the quality.
My hands are shaking whether I should pull the trigger.
Yes, I guess so.
Recall ajoesmith mentioned sometime ago using napisan,
Since oxiclean is not sold in my country, but Napisan is available - advertised for soaking baby clothes.
So,
napisan = oxiclean?
Apart from Oxiclean, how about Clorox since the main ingredient is also sodium percarbonate & sodium carbonate as mentioned on the packing. Any one tried?
Why I ask is that Oxiclean is at nowhere available in where I live.
