  1. If you talk about the part that is at 5, it'S the "click" with the "clickspring" under it (which prevent the gear from turning) If you talk about the big tick gear, it'S the crown wheel. So from left to right: Crown Wheel, Ratchet Wheel and the click with clickspring. Hope it's help Edit: and if you talk about what is under it, it's the "Barrel". Offrei or Coussin might be your only choices.
  2. I really love my Black Magic, but this ons is blah... And I guess it will be in the same price range as the HBB lite.. Sooo happy, more money in my pocket... til next one
  3. saw it yesterday, I was about to post it nice vid.
  4. First thing strange, you can't wear a sapphire crystal.. so having a 3/4in scratch on it is kinda funny. But overall, the pearl, bezel alignment, HE valve position, hands too short, dial pattern not strong enough and more more.. This is a 21j cheap version.
  5. $40 shipped and no, it wasn't a swan neck... simple 6497 (but for that price and a project with closed case.. hey!)
  6. I ordered one yesterday
  7. Try ajoesmith on RepGeek.. Cheap
  8. Just like Bytor.. my 3y old SMP is my bulletproof watch.
  9. 24h subdial at 3 is something I don't quite like in Quartz watches. (same with date subdial, but there is none here) Still.. it's Quartz, not expensive and you don't have much other choice if you want this model.. Look nice!
  10. could be dirt or broken piece.. Servicing might be the best option yes.
  11. Asia is about $50-60 if you don't want the swan neck The finish on the plates of the ETA is very dull, so if you have a clear back, it's ab it "bah". I would try to fix it. Yes.. but H1 pinion hand won't fit H3 pinion. You need to sand the opening a bit (or use DVN hand, which are for H3)
  12. Maybe the screw that hold the stem in place isn't tight enough, or you have a problem with your keyless work (set lever broken ?!) Try opening the back, put the crown in place. Look just near the Crown wheel (the smaller one of the 2 "big"), you have a tiny screw. turn it 1 or 2 turn clockwise to screw it with the stem in place. Try your stem.. If it doesn't work, I guess you will have to remove the movement, hands and dial and take a look at the keyless work. (if you don't have the tool or skill, bring it to someone that can make it.. It's probably an easy fix.) P.S. I'm not expert and might be wrong.. I start messing with movement.
  13. HBB all "white" or all black are awesome looking watch.. Wear it well.
  14. Back should be Titanium.. So PVD isn't better, it's as wrong. Edit: the bezel "teeth" looks weak! and I don't like the white date (I know Gen come with both, but look out of place on a all black watch.)
  15. Well sorry for that. Mine isn't the "ultimate", but I'm quite happy with it. Worst thing is I have a black leather strap in the mail for it ask for a replacement, it's unacceptable.
  16. This is why I always look at your review, we have the same taste the BCE is 43 or 44mm. Normal size.
  17. From river a bit before Christmas My only complain is single sided AR and the pearl which have a green look. (glow more than hands) Edit: Note there is dust on it.. the finish is very good, I just didn't wipe it before taking the shot
  18. humm.. My $230 TT BCE don't have any of those problem. Send it back or ask for a bracelet replacement.
  19. I ordered parts from him to make my own watch (Dial, case, hands, strap.) The AR look to be single sided.. It's there, but it's not incredible. The Lume glow A LOT, but don't last very long.. Usual "Super lume".. Not The Zigmeister work, but definitely much better than rep. Is it worth $420 ? hard to say. For me, parts cost me under $200 and the swiss movement $120. I guess extra $100 for the work, quality control and some kind of insurance isn't much.. My dial had problem with alignment, so I'm waiting a replacement to complete my project.. (patience.. always the key in this hobby )
  20. Well the premium would be the price of the watch.. The only way they can makes that right now is for every 8 watch they send, only 1 need return. So everyone pay the extra for the one that will need it. If that extra is $40, then with every 7 that have no problem, he can pay for the damn watch that need to be replaced. (and if it's a killer HBB, then I hope the watch don't really cost him $800 or he is screwed) If you have a problem, wouldn't you be mad about the seller that dropshipped and never seen the watch? This wouldn't change sicne dealer would have even less responsibility. If it's broken, he don't loose any money. Even worst that now. Sellers have the right to make money and ask for an "insurance" that we need to pay for everyone. Problem isn't how everything works. It's just sad no dealer can actually show price and how they makes on a watch.. Seriously, I don't mind if they sell a watch $300 and they pay $120 for it. I'm happy up to that price range and if the service I get from them is good (fast shipping, minimal inspection and some "care" for few days/weeks after) But if a dealer takes the chance to explain us that with an example, then everyone will try to negotiate price and it would lost lot of money.. So every dealer STFU because of that. Btw, I remember few months ago, everyone what screaming about Josh and Andrew that were controlling the market and how evil they were.. What happened ? Now every dealers have increased their price (still lower than them) And anyway, as long as people are ready to buy, the price will go up.. If I list a penny on ebay and someone is buy it for a dollars, why wouldn't I list my next penny at $1 again ?
  21. hahaha.. Watch mod is fun.. weeeeeeeeee
  22. This is my next purchase (damn you! I had forgotten about it) Btw don't forget that our dealer are selling ILLEGAL STUFF. I think it's normal they makes money (lot of) by selling rep, or the risk wouldn't worth it. I don't excuse the price increase lately, but I do understand a dealer can't only make $40 out a replica and then offer a replacement if the package get lost, the movement is broken or the "OMG there is a scratch on my hour hand, replace the whole thing please" issues. Are the dealers making $500 on the HBB ? if so, they shame on them, but shame on us that buy it too. Now, where to buy my Tourbillon watch ?
  23. Spacers wouldn't look good. Humm, isn't Di-Model makes a strap like that ? I remember seeing something like that before.
  24. Ok, I think I have found the problem. I disassembled the movement completely, cleaned and assembled it again. Everything works, but as soon as I put the dial, the movement start to slow or completely stop. I looked as close as I could with my 10x loupe, and from what I can see, the 4th wheel (second hand) is touching the dial. Relooked at the 4th wheel to be sure it wasn't bent or something, but no. The wheel and shaft are perfect. The Dial is a H type from Davidson, and looks like the hole isn't at the good spot.
  25. Sure it is ! That remember me when I was in Cancun airport custom. They guy looked at my watch (SMP rep from first batch) and asked me if I was diving, after saying how great looking it was
