docdoc Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 (edited) Out of curiosity I wonder how many of you are in the same state that I am with the supposely to come new moonwatch. Maybe it will put some pressure on our fellow dealers here Edited February 9, 2010 by docdoc
valerian Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 That will probably be my next gen. V1 of the Rep would have to be stellar to change my mind. Val.
gran Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Funny thing that a moon watch without a moonphase complication altogether.....maybe it should be renamed ...the japanses have taken it more literally
Mercury Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 If they could make a super rep of the moon watch then they would sell thousands. I don't understand why they haven't yet. Like an accurate Daytona that won't die after a few days.
mastrmindalliance Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 I'd love it! Seeing as I don't have any other gens of the reps I own. Would be great to compare... But, hang on, how long ago did the new UPO land and is this it? My PO chrono please advise.
OzTag Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 I Agree, I'd be in for a moonwatch super rep
Francisco Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 yes, waiting here. I cannot understand why is it not here yet...
Pugwash Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 I cannot understand why is it not here yet... Maybe the movement is too thick to fit in a Speedy case.
lhooq Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 My default watch is a gen Speedmaster Pro, but I'd definitely be up for a good rep. Vintage Daytona lovers have it pretty good with DW's selection of dials/cases, but imagine if you could buy Moon Watch variants for a few hundred bucks a pop: I'll take a 1957 Reissue, a blue-dialled Gemini, a panda Mitsukoshi Edition &c. &c. It's nice to daydream.
highoeyazmuhudee Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 what I like about the speedmaster is its incredible value, finding a used gen for $1200 isnt too hard.
baltic Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 Nothing beat the gen for moonwatch Amen...
HeadToucha Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Damned, for 1 second seeing your title i thought: they finally use the new UPO movement ? And no ....
whitestripes Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 what I like about the speedmaster is its incredible value, finding a used gen for $1200 isnt too hard. Where are you looking? Used gens go for ~$1600 and up, unless it's a beat up cal 861... even then prices are going up
deltatahoe Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 Where are you looking? Used gens go for ~$1600 and up, unless it's a beat up cal 861... even then prices are going up one was sold on TZ here a couple weeks ago for $1,250 deltatahoe
space Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 You are talking about this one? http://www.omegawatches.com/gents/speedmaster/co-axial-chronometer/31130445001001 44mm co-axial? That is soo sweet
whitestripes Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 one was sold on TZ here a couple weeks ago for $1,250 deltatahoe wow! that is a great price, but is by far the exception rather than the norm. I'll keep my eyes open
don60 Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 I really want one of these anticipated new Speedmasters.I am hoping it will be the 3570.50 version. My Father and I both have Gens. of that model and I have a Ruby's model that is still going strong after about two years now. When and if they do come out I can assure them of at least 4 immediate orders. One for my Father, one for my brother and two for myself, one for wearing and the second for modding with Gen. parts if it is possible. I check all the boards at least twice a week to see if there is any new word on them.
