4fun Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Update: Hey guys, Received the prototype crystal. It looks excellent as far as quality. The single sided AR is very nice. No time to take pics and I'm off to New Orleans in a few Hours. Once I get back I'll take caliper measurements and lots of pictures and try to fit it on my watch once I'm back home in Madrid. I hope it's a perfect fit!!!!!! Can't wait !!

Mmmmm, genuine Corundrum 1:1 212/253 goodness may be only 4 to 5 weeks away. If you've purchased a C3 crystal for your 44mm manual-wind Luminor, then you know I don't lie and can back-up what I post. I'll take pictures and get a move on the pricing with the factory. From what I can tell the crystal looks great. Inner AR (per genuine) is a HUGE improvement and looks very nice, with a very slight blue tinge. Here's the pics:
