Got my first MBW from Reg today and instandly did some mods on it:

Drilled lugholes, gen springbars, polished, new Yuki insert (modded to fit nicely with a small gap) with new Yuki pearl, Yuki crystal (from my Yuki case which got a gen crystal, the magnification of the MBW was like 0.000000002), shaved CG.

tube needs to be fitted for the gen crown which is waiting to be placed...

Couldn´t have done it 4 month ago and specially with out the How-To-Section on this forum, many thanks for that guys!!!

I am quite happy with the outcome as this is only my second watch to mod by myself.

This was my first selfmodded watch (vintage Insert, lumejob, superdome, vintage hands, polished all tried for the first time ), but actually I am thinking of building it back to a not-so-vintage-stage...

So if anyone got a GWSD dial, please PM me ;-)

Yuki case, gen springbars, gen crytal, gen bracelet ( I hope), gen crown, gen swiss ETA 2824-2 ordered from switzerland, Yuki Tudor rotor, Yuki insert and perl (got a modded WSO on on the pics as I don´t want to touch the Yuki one right now), MBW clasp, silver Datedisc overlay flat 3 open 6 and 9 and a nice spacer from stilty ;-)

And one pic of the whole Gorilla-Bunch ;-) Mostly low budged, but nice to look at on the wall...

I hope you enjoyed the pics... Also my first pics though ;-)

You got balls and it looks very good.

Small qusetion how's the bezel turning , i mean do you have to use a lot of force to get it turned

or do you just press it down and turn it with 2 fingers.

Wear it well.

on the MBW: bezel is quite stiff (manageable to turn with 2 fingers, but firm) and bidirectional, but I like it more firm especially if it bidirectionally (what I don´t like, shouldn´t even the old bezels turn monodirectionally??)

On the other hand I had to shave the crystal holding ring to fit the yuki crystal in and I must say the crystal is really nice. Got the more flat hat look.

on the Yuki: bezel turns a bit lighter but also 2 finger style with a bit of force and also bidirectionally.

But I don´t have the insert installed, so it might get a bit firmer with the insert in.

Don´t know which I like better turning-wise. But actually I don´t like them turning at all, on the DRSD I even glued the bezel in place because I lost the spring and it isn´t a prob for me.
