now, now...let's think this out a little...if you don't know what the gen value of a rep is, go find out!...

what's cool about reps is that many of us own tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of gen dollars in reps...

enjoy the poll...

true that, S!...

i sometimes laugh at those that are weary of being "called out" by someone for a microscopic difference in reps versus gens...i find it ironic that if anyone really knew watch brands, the bigger question is how does he afford all those Breitlings and PAMs... :whistling:

haha.. never thought about how much it would cost to Buy the GEN version of all my watches! Around 90,000 usd! The APs Panerai and Hublots really boost the value up ridiculously. :whistling:

The general rules , once told to me by a long time member , is that you shouldn't invest more then 10%

of the gen value in a rep.

I have to admit i don't stick to that rule , for example havin g a modern SUB which cost me more then

Not entirely sure... Let's have a tot up assuming deconstructed and incomplete projects were finished, I'd be looking at...

Rolex 1655 Explorer II

Rolex 5513 Submariner

Rolex 6240 pre-Daytona

Rolex 6200 pre-Submariner

Rolex 16622 Yachtmaster

Tudor Oyster Prince Date (custom build, no model number)

Tudor 7919 Submariner

Tudor 7016 Submariner

I haven't got a list of catalogue prices and am not much of a mathmagician at the best of times, so what would that come to? About $25-30,000? :pardon:

I don even want to think about it...its just crazy and a lot more then the price of a barabd new genuine PO it seems...I will not even give a figure.... spending this kind of money on replicas...it must be some kind of insanity :1a:

I wish lani were around right now to chime in on this one..... Dude has more watches than I have socks...

Hold on , I thought Lani had more than 2 watches!!! :D

My lots worth about 2 packets of crisps and a 10% off voucher for the Red Lobster!!!(Mid-week of course!!)

it does make for some fun...

in any given work week - with the usual daily rotation - i probably wear, on average, a minimum of $15,000usd in watches... :pardon:

well for starters I have a PP sun moon and stars which had a price tag of about 250k last time I looked.

Then theres the JLC, VC, A Lang & Shonn etc etc

And at the bottom end is my rollies and Omega's, so I figure well over 350k all up.
