Nanuq Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 I went for a nice climb on Portage Glacier today (yes, it was colder than hell) and couldn't help myself... this picture was just begging to be snapped. A Snowflake on snowflakes!
lhooq Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Beautiful shot! And thank you for not making yellow snow to match the lume.
Revano Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 (edited) Cool lighting. Edited February 20, 2011 by Revano
Nanuq Posted February 20, 2011 Author Report Posted February 20, 2011 Thanks gents! You can tell summer is coming back some day, in deep winter all the pictures are completely in shades of blue. This one has some reds in it! Break out the suntan lotion!
krpster Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Cool shot Nanuq. Love that snowflake.
seafoam Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 (edited) Very nice picture Nanuq. Looks like a beacon of hope or a bit angelic... Edited February 20, 2011 by seafoam
pr0digy30 Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 How I would love to come across that sitting on the ice while out walking in snow-shoes! Very nice indeed!
vafarmer70 Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Thanks for sharing I think it would be nice to just be able to "go for a nice climb on a glacier" sometime.
coolfire Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Amazing... Only Nanuq can pull this off.
chefcook Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 Thanks gents! You can tell summer is coming back some day, in deep winter all the pictures are completely in shades of blue. This one has some reds in it! Break out the suntan lotion! Actually I got a sunburn last week in Arizona But I am sure the snowflake will look nice in summer too

ThinkBachs Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 Some things just need to be done, if they didn't- we'd all still be living in caves...
