JoeyB
what movement was inside this? They wouldn't let me open it, but I'd bet it was a DG3804.
gplracer
wow this does look nice. Put this sucker in a better case with a gen dial, insert, and crown and away you go! I still have concerns about repair of the movement when it is time to have it repaired. One of our specialist needs take this baby down and review it. redwatch
It may just be worth the price of the watch for the movement alone if it proves to be reliable as well. Very good findings. E Agreed!
rosnik
What did you pay for the watch if I may ask? yes, off course, it's on PureTime site. 400$ Edited December 7, 2011 by rosnik
southcoast68
This is exciting news for Rolex fans indeed! As far as the case, I really don't think it looks that bad, we have all seen worse I'm sure. For those who remember rep life before the Noob existed, something like this would be a virtual unicorn for most and only available to those in-the-know folks who have the special handshake, secret password and the like. However, I do see many of these being sold to have the movement be installed in a WM9 or BK Sub project. I myself am curios if this movement would fit a gen DateJust case (16013, 16014 case) since I have two currently with ETA's in them, this would really make them that much nicer. Cheers
rosnik
If somebody nether sow a Gen 3135.........I suppose all you sow. That a comparative 3135 Vs. Sa3135. I suppose that this SA3135 can fit all 3135 Gen case .

Ueno
What case would be good to use with this movement? Also Can I use this movement to build a 16800 with gen dial, hands and date wheel?
chefcook
The 3035 date wheel that you'd need building a perfect 16800 does not work on the 3135, neither gen 3135 nor SA3135. On the 3035 movement the date rotates in the opposite direction.
coolfire
Is this a sign of better things to come? For example, the SD?
