Rolexaddict
For the first time in the rep world a 1675 TT Nipple dial has been reproduced ! Champagne ! (right now, gorouk and me enjoy Paulaner beer, ) More pics will follow from gorouk in the coming days. These were taken this morning, the watch is still in observation as we have a little problem with the gen crown. No more comments about the building and technical, if you have questions, just ask, To make short, gold parts like the bezel assembly and the hands are gold platted. The European standards are 5 microns of 18k, here we have on both bezel ring and hands 10 microns of 24k gold !!! the job is guaranted by the shop here in Paris. Case is the 1655 1/1 from Josh, powered by the DG3804, a real workhorse , 21.600bph - true GMT movement WSO complete 1675 bezel assembly, (with gold platted bezel ring) Gen Nipple dial, circa 1976 (according books) Gen tube & crown (crown is in solid gold) Clark 25-116 plexi Gen Rolex springbars Rafflestime TT 18k/SS jubilee with classic vintage clasp Gorouk is waiting for parts to finish the project, I used my TT jubilee from Rafflestime to take the pics, Enjoy! more will come, with the patined case back original sticker for exemple ... Rolexaddict
Thanks all for the kind comments This is a gen for sale on "Montres mécaniques" a French forum. It's well what they call a 1675/3 - not a 16753, according to the hands stack. Not in great conditions, lot of scratches and stretched jubilee. Note : middle links are hollow but made from solid gold, its very soft. The guy ask for 3650 euros, I will experiment to ask him for 3000 euros cash from hand to hand, I am sure he would be o.k The caseback New pics from gorouk's 1675 with a brown insert/gold fonts The caseback with sticker Edited December 14, 2011 by Rolexaddict
