I saw this come up on rolexforums and thought it was cool but i expected their to be shock and horror.

But it was all backslapping and congrats. All 8 pages of it. I guess they miss out on seeing cool builds over there.

Here's the thread if you're interested

This is all original Rolex parts and from what I've read, user Jockey can afford both the GMT and the Explorer.

But I agree that if someone here put up a similar all OEM Franken, the earth would move!

im pretty sure this reputable vrf seller and high end high price seller sold a franken comex here as well

cgs, crown height, and caseback, no he valve. hmmm, wonder who bought it

Robert Moron sold quite a few Daytonas with questionable dials in the past. I would not touch a watch from him with a ten ft pole.

I Saw that thread a few months back. I am a member there since I have/ had gens....

I thought he used an aftermarket dial and hands.

I also mentioned that frankens like these are common in vintage and that I would avoid buying really expensive pieces because of the Frankenstein practice...

I have to agree that Jocke can afford both. He has an amazing collection of watches. I remember he recently bought an A. Lange & Sohne. Quite the beautiful watch.
