neversummer
Hello folks! Thought it might be interesting. This is taken in 1963 in Kremlin, Moscow. Fidel Castro is meeting Nikita Khrushchev. Fidel is wearing Rolex...two of them, on the same wrist!

Nightwatch
He had at least 2 GMT´s GMT-Master Reference 6542 without crownguards and the 1975 GMT-Master Reference 1675 with black bezel insert: There´s an article on Jake´s Rolex world. Cuban revolutionaires loved the brand. Here´ s Che with his GMT Master, looks great Edited September 9, 2014 by Nightwatch
automatico
Imho Che Guevara aka 'The Butcher of La Cabana' was a better man after Mario Teran got done with him. Ex CIA guy Felix Rodriguez supposedly still has the GMT. Che 'gave it up' after he no longer needed to know what time it was.
GenTLe
Automatico, give a look to the movie "The Motorcycle Diaries". You may change the idea...
automatico
I could smart off and say you might read this guy's actual history but I will not. Do not believe the media hype. I have talked to quite a few people who lived in Cuba during the Castro and Che era who are now living in Miami and other parts of the USA. lhooq
Even if Motorcycle Diaries were completely accurate, there is a vast distance between the film's hero and the man who was executed all those "counterrevolutionaries" and was too radical even for Fidel Castro. But, boy, did he look good in a beret!
