Guest REPPIN Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 I'm arguing with a buddy. I'm saying rep. He's saying gen. Crown and guards look off to me.
danielv2000 Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 By the looks of the large surround of the hour markers, I'm saying rep. Tthe date looks slightly too crowded in the window.
POTR Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 What no comment on oversized rehaut engraving?
giobo Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 This looks like a nice noob one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Legend Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 I am finally able to be able to comment, after learning a bit from my friend @folex. Rep, looking at the pearl and insert
Beachcomber Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 I'm thinking Rep have had a gen before and it never actually lined up I mean the triangle with the pearl never actually lined up perfectly, this one does so this is why I'm saying this is a rep. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bc1221 Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 Rep. The second hand pinion hole is usually a dead giveaway
sirore Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 Can't tell at distance for my knowledge
POTR Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 Genuine facsimile of a modified replication. 1
Mattcrx Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Rep, crystal has wrong AR and AR isn't strong enough Bezel does not have platinumized engravings Pearl isn't close enough Looks like a Noob factory v4 to me.
Guest baleinedessable Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Rep. Pearl seems off, date window is tight.. Nice SELs though. Just the fact we can arguing about it tells that you can be very happy with a quality rep
martijnp Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 This is obvious a genuine replica of a genuine watch 1
Ezio Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 This is obvious a genuine replica of a genuine watch Yep no such Thing as a fake watch only genuine reproductions
Guest MoneyBags Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Its a Rolex assumed fake first that's why one should buy a Gen Does not cost much to wear the real thing past the initial investment. It's like currency on your wrist. Always worth $1000-$1200 less than you paid. So its costing you three funky reps to wear the real thing and in five years when the new one goes up you can get even more of your money back. The way I see it. If you have to ask , it's likely a fake. Most Rolexes in the wild are assumed fake. The most replicated watch ever. BTW That is a REP in a few ways. Edited February 3, 2015 by MoneyBags
Guest MoneyBags Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Yep no such Thing as a fake watch only genuine reproductions When the movement and steel used is exactly the same I will call it a reproduction. Otherwise it's a fake.
Beachcomber Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Kermit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ezio Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 When the movement and steel used is exactly the same I will call it a reproduction. Otherwise it's a fake. No they are genuine allright i have one right on my wrist right now it shows time = a genuine Real watch
panerai153 Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 What does the movement look like? That should be the real tell, unless the previous owner was building a real franken with a gen movement. And Beachcomber I agree, perhaps another Kermit in the making!! The fearless, feckless, foolish frogs are invading!!
