Beachcomber Posted April 6, 2015 Report Share Posted April 6, 2015 I bought this Gen a couple of years ago when times were better, it's a 764xxx from 1962 it's what's called a tropical dial with uniform spiderwebbing, dial is all original as are the hands, the hands may have been relumed some time ago but they are original to the watch. It's never been in a collection and walked into the dealers shop from the original owner. Oh how I miss this one. I found this to be way too small (38mm) and felt like I wasn't wearing a Sub. Traded her for the Red(which I sold) to pay for tuition for my daughter's university with no regrets. I wish I built the gilt, but a rep of this one wouldn't cut it for me, it's the history of the vintage pieces that do it for me.
