This was actually meant to become a donor watch for a Yuki Tudor Monte Carlo. But now that I have it on my wrist I actually like it for what it is. A very nice vintage chrono in its own right in a not so common tonneau case. I am actually quite undecided. Let it proceed it's vintage life or rip it apart and build a premium rep.....

What do you think?

It makes much more of a statement than a Monte Carlo. Keep it vintage/funky.

Keep the watch mate it's unique. But get its lesser brethren and build the Monte Carlo anyway you know it'll call your name again down the road soon!

Ok.Thank you guys. It is decided then. It will get it a nice dark blue gator but apart from that I will leave it as it is. The Monte Carlo has to wait a few month more.

A blue gator is really going to make that look good. Please post updated pictures.

Do it , that's not going to be on your wrist for long , those indices are way to old fashioned in 70's retro style and not in a good way, and the lack of an obvious bezel isn't cool. Donate the movement to the monte. You know that's what you really want.

I'm not a big fan of these old tonneau case watches, but it is a nice old vintage. Wear it for a while, if it doesn't resonate, you can always use it as a donor
