Guest avitt Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 (edited) That's awesome! A dude with 5 posts gets the scoop I love it Edited September 14, 2007 by avitt
Watchmeister Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Seems fitting after watching vets (who know better) frothing at the mouth. Myself included of course.
z3k0 Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 I have passed the order a minute ago from Joshua, the watch is in stock, he confirm me by Email!!! I'll let you know next week.... if everything goes right. I can't wait... OK, so, can you let us know the price ? regards
Pugwash Posted September 14, 2007 Author Report Posted September 14, 2007 I have passed the order a minute ago from Joshua, the watch is in stock, he confirm me by Email!!! I'll let you know next week.... if everything goes right. I can't wait... Are you sure you've not ordered a Cousteau 2007? Or did you pay the $888,888 dummy price? http://www.pc-80108.com/00000-aquatimer-ch...oon-p-3185.html The Aquatimer Chrono will be cheaper than the Cousteau. Probably $350-$380.
Pugwash Posted September 14, 2007 Author Report Posted September 14, 2007 Just to clarify, this tread is about this watch: It is not about the orange and blue Cousteaus.
SAS Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 OK, so, can you let us know the price ? regards $400 !!!
SAS Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Nice screen shot Pug. you are right to clarify this point, because I was talking about the Aquatimer Cousteau 2007... Sorry
Pugwash Posted September 14, 2007 Author Report Posted September 14, 2007 you are right to clarify this point, because I was talking about the Aquatimer Cousteau 2007... I guessed. As good as the 2007 is, it's not our Slevin.
yellomen Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 As good as the 2007 is, it's not our Slevin. Amen to that
Panerai Guy! Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 I was just at Watchez.com and it looks like they have one on there! I don't know about this dealer and if the pics are of a gen or what, but I wanted to let you guys know so you could comment!

eunomians Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 I'm going crazy waiting for this damn watch.
yellomen Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 I'm going crazy waiting for this damn watch. Same here... those two weeks on the Asian calender is crazy... on my calender it's been more than a month!
Pugwash Posted September 15, 2007 Author Report Posted September 15, 2007 Same here... those two weeks on the Asian calender is crazy... on my calender it's been more than a month! Mine too. I need this watch!
ryaku Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 At least i hope they will fix the date font in this long delay... especially if it will be sold in the 300-400$ range. However crazy price for me, unless there'll be a top notch QC ...but that's pure fantasy... If price is confirmed over 300$, and if i buy it, it will have to be almost perfect without the usual flaws...crooked markers, defective crown, crooked bezel..and so on. On the contrary it will be shipped back with no remorse and with shipping cost up to dealers, gdi.
eunomians Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Still waiting. Almost losing interest (ok, not really). But damn, this shittt is taking long.
docblackrock Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Jesus, you guys STILL waiting???? Talk about self-flagellation. Glaciers have moved faster, no scratch that....asthmatic snails have moved faster! I really hope for your collective sanities' sake, it's worth it. Sometimes the anticipatory thrill of the chase is more exciting than the capture
Chronus Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Sometimes the anticipatory thrill of the chase is more exciting than the capture I agree, that's also why ebay is so popular.
chrgod Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Well.. I think I have been converted to get the Blackbird instead.. But hopefully the Aquatimer will be worth the wait. Maybe a good version of the non-chrono verison will surface someday also!
yellomen Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 I call it the Jesus watch Uh? It doesn't wear slippers and doesn't have a beard
docblackrock Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 I believe that's a reference to the nickname of the iPhone aka 'Jesus phone' in view of the incredible anticipation and expectation experienced, almost cult-like. In the Aquatimer's case, I personally think it's more relevant in terms of "Jesus, how much LONGER do we suckers have to wait???"
ryaku Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 A well known dealer told me it will be released most likely in a month ... at least.
docblackrock Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Another month?!!! Euno >>>>>> Pug >>>>>> Time for this boys?
yellomen Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 another month??? NO... I WANT IT NOW!!!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Same goes for the 1:1 Rollie SD... a continuing waiting period... maybe Xmas next year?
