Weekend Wrist Check (The traditional)

Hey, for once I got off my lazy butt and took a FRESH wrist shot (well 10 minutes old). This is what I'm wearing now... it's 6:20 Friday AM where I live... after the coffee I'm leaving to the damn office again... with the "tools" in my picture.

Nice shot :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I think it should be a requirement of these threads to post new pictures, some guys are posting the same ones over and over again from many months ago!

The infamous Croton CF Chrono today. It's a tough one to capture, and my crappy camera (and lack of photographic inclination) make for some poor pics.

But here it is anyway...

Right now against this post...

Looking rather blingy with that damn flash...

post-7786-1191554990_thumb.jpg

Note that the subdials are all ringed with silver, and are still easily readable with all that flash going on.. see how Croton got it right with all the dials? Probably not... bonus points for ID'ing the background.

I wish I could capture the way the dial looks on the wrist.. with the numerals, hands and subdials appearing to float in perfect glossy black space above a sea of equidistant stars......

More interesting background for this crowd....

Guess I need to get a better camera someday...

Just when I thought I was getting better, I have a weird palm itching flare-up this very night. My palms look like they're on fire...sigh. HOPEFULLY, though, Monday will have live photos. I have so many new straps to show you all! Can't wait! :tu:

FRIDAY

The fantasy HBB in YG from Paul of Woemart, not Narikaa's because my mum nicked that for her. ;)

Close-up -- again.

SATURDAY

Jimminy Cricket! It's my PAM Lion Purdey (PAM 154). :D

Above I was wearing my Micah V-Dark strap, which looks awesome with the Lion Purdey. Here I am wearing that waffle-pattern strap I thought was OEM, before V told me, 'not on your nellie'. Don't like the angle of my wrist -- I look aged 97 with all those wrinkles!!

SUNDAY

Keeping in the spirit of the Special Editions, here's the PAM 076, showing the "Maiale" Submariners -- beautiful watch.

pam076maialebo1.jpg

It's a head-turner! Never fails to get a compliment from startled bystanders. "Wow, cool watch!". The PAV 99 is on it permanently.

...I'll have Rollies, and other watches next week! Touch wood. ;)

This watch has only left my wrist for about an hour in the past week (and that was during the frequent strap changes. I've got new screws on the way because they are almost useless. BTW-The sting ray strap is the thickest I've ever seen. 6.5mm at the lug and 5mm at the buckle. Love it. I'll never sell it.

Tomorrow Going with the Moonwatch again:

Do you know what kind of a NASA geek I am? I even watch Shuttle take-offs live on the NASA site.

This is the ONLY Omega I really want...and it's the one I can never wear because it's simply a guy's watch. There's just no two ways about it.

Sigh. Nice watch, Robert.
