manuel Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 order the 2892 instead. does the 2892 version have the same case with correct crown and lugholes as the 3135 movt?
tutima Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Check Angus's latest detailed pics......I like.... Experts please chime in.....
cskent69 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 It is the same as Trusty's and Joshua's. Looks like the same as Kings 2836 version. The real question is - what does the 2892 version from King look like?
Star69 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 so much hype and than this disappointing result ! unless its priced like other rolex reps - way under 200 $ - no SD for me Frank
dvn Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 With all the flaws mentioned here, why did they even called it Ultimate 1:1.?
cskent69 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Can anyone tell if Angus's version has a hollow mid-link bracelet or not? The pictures are not 100% clear.
piratedzeus Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Looks hollow. I am VERY happy about the bracelet. polished sides, no sharp edges!
elprimerozen Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 My watch will be on its way realy soon....a lot of comparison pics will folow!!!!You will see the seadweller in every angle posible!!
piratedzeus Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I say: do not order yet! 1. Possible GB 2. no Price comparison to other dealers yet (Ruby!) 3. King's SD Also I for myself prefer the lugholes SD But thanks, elprimero
Pugwash Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I've been wondering about the maxi-dial. Is this what Rolex are going to use on the next SD like they will on the next Sub?
cskent69 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 You know - Pugwash - i had that exact same thought. It is entirely possible that they may maxi-dial the next sea dweller. Problem is, I like the old dial better. Does anyone actually have pictures of Kings 2892 version???? Should we hold out any hope that it is the same case as her 3135 version?
The Mentalist Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Is King's 3135 version actually available?
piratedzeus Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I've been wondering about the maxi-dial. Is this what Rolex are going to use on the next SD like they will on the next Sub? Let's hope not Is King's 3135 version actually available? No.
Stephane Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Let's hope not Let's keep our 1665 !!! They will reach a huuuuuuge value in our rep world if Rolex starts to use maxi dials !!!
gioarmani Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Is the case on this model at least thicker than a sub? http://www.cclv.net/ROLEX-352.htm
watcher Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Don't know but the 353 is thicker. I've ordered one from King. Stocks in on the 20th she told me. Mail her for price as I think she has different figures for regular order guys. It's under $300 anyway. comparing pics I have of my gen SD as I soild it earlier this year! the bezel is only marginally thinner. The teeth are not cut quite as low down the sides as the gen which alters the appearance. I expect it will look better in the flesh and. I also have a genuine SD insert which will be interesting as to whether it fits or not. An SD insert is smaller than a Sub so we will see if they have the crystal dimensions correct or not.
The Mentalist Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 No. Then why post it on the site if it isn't? Duh.
athan Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Hi guys, would anybody be so kind to tel me Angus' website address? cheers
triplehd Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I see King has 2 versions. I guess the higher end one, from what I am gathering, is correct except for the maxi dial and date font. Just like we do with our MBWs, can we swap out the dials and change the date overlays? Our we in business then or did we wait all this time for nothing? Seems like the good ol' TW SD might be a better option ?
manuel Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 so no version with lugholes unless you buy the one with 3135 movt?
The Mentalist Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 so no version with lugholes unless you buy the one with 3135 movt? If only you could buy it. Just what exactly is the story with the 3135 version? Is it something you can buy or not and if not, why the hell is it on King's site?
its_urabus Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 ive been told by a trusted dealer, that there is a 3035 version of this sea dweller that in thier words "will make you cry" its so amazing.... im holding out to see that one.....
By-Tor Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 ive been told by a trusted dealer, that there is a 3035 version of this sea dweller that in thier words "will make you cry" its so amazing.... im holding out to see that one..... Probably the initial case offering, which WAS amazing. What is the "3035 version"? With genuine Rolex movement again, eh? That'd make the price ridiculous... around 2K.
its_urabus Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 i believe you are correct about the case bytor. but I dont know if its a genuine rolex movement. it has been explained to me as a "new 1:1 Sea dweller with ETA 3035 - Same replicated movement" we will all see... but im still excited.
