Weekend Wrist Check (7th - 9th of Dec, 2007)

Since I spent the past 2 days working on its CGs (and had to repair a brake problem (with input from the Zigmeister, in case anyone is keeping score) along the way), I think it only fitting that I end the week by taking the Daytona to work today

Is it really Friday now? Oops... I guess it is.

I've been working so much that I've lost count.

Anyway... wearing the SFSO now.

Freddy, I edited the subject title to match the traditional formula. Maybe that way we can get this thread going properly. :)

Seadweller, the effort you went through (and the embarrassment!) was well worth it. These are MAGNIFICENT shots of you, your PAM, your lovely strap (what is it? Paci V?), and the cars on show.

You're awesome! :tu:

-- Can't believe this Weekend Wristcheck is only at 9 posts! Sure it was going to be in its third page by now. Let me go outside and shoot mine --

@Dluddy: Go with the 111 on the Senape?

FRIDAY

RWG is not slow today, but nothing cheers people up more than seeing new watches, new vistas, new STUFF. It's like having free rep watches of your own, since you see what's out there. This is my contribution today. Amongst my most favourite shots ever.

My new Rolex Day-Date from RWG member, Azmindreader. Lovely lovely, gen-looking linen/tuxedo dial.

I wanted to share in the snow fun. Here's me wearing my North Face anorak and the Rollie DD.

But the reality, I'm afraid, is much different. It was 87F/31C today. :whistling:

SATURDAY

You've seen the Fiddy sized version, but here's Greg Stevens' Crazy Horse with antique stitching on my DSN PAM 112! Beautiful (and sold out). But there was a surprise in the buckle I wasn't expecting! :animal_rooster:

Your strap is killin' me. Would you like to depart from it?

My Prince, they say everyone has a price, but this is V's Holy Grail strap. I think all your rep kingdom would not suffice to make him part with it.

OTOH, what you got for me? I sure as heck have a price. And it's called Panerai.

Unfortunately for you, Victoria is right.. Everything has a price except from this strap... I cannot even remove it from my watch now for a week to put any other strap even for some hours...

I don't know but the Metta leather is something very special and many straps have passed and went the last two years and the only one that's stayed is my old Metta.
